One day Karamchand Jason's was on a trip to Beijing. After finishing his dinner he was about to proceed when his Chinese friends mentioned that the hotel he was staying in was haunted. Karamchand immediately asked the restaurant to get some fresh carrots from the kitchen and mentioned that he can crack anything with a few carrots.

The Chinese friends asked him if his room was last in the corridor and he said "yes". They then asked if his room number was 13 and he said "yes".

They said 100% the hotel he was staying in was haunted by an elderly couple. Karamchand's friends then dropped him at his hotel and he proceeded with his keys to his floor and room. He entered his keys and they did not open. He could hear strange noises inside and the TV was running inside. He was shocked and surprised. He tried his key again but then someone from inside opened the door. It was an elderly lady and there was an old man sitting on the bed. Karamchand remembered the story and thought if this was the same ghost couple. He asked how dare they be in his room and the elderly man said it was him who was in their room, they have been in fact staying here for so long, it was their room and not his.

Karamchand took out his carrot had a bit, gathered some courage, and walked down to the reception and complained. The manager heard him and came along to the room and after seeing the elderly couple told him that this is the couple's room and no one can get them out.

Karamchand was puzzled and came down along with the manager chewing his carrot. He then asked the manager to give him another room and the manager said the hotel was full. In anger, he handed over the keys to the manager. The manager glanced at the keys with a smile on his face.

Karamchand now knew that even the manager was somehow involved. He looked at the manager and sternly asked if there was another room, the manager smiled again and told him no. But ....he said, if you still need to go to your room, I can guide you. Karamchand was shocked and asked how...the manager smiled again and said you are the detective, not me.

Karamchand looked closely at his keys and the glasses of the manager and yes he knew what was the reason. He collected the keys and said bye to the manager and walked across the road to his hotel and into his room.

The reflection of his hotel signboard on the manager's spectacles was the hint that helped him locate his hotel. His friends had actually dropped him on the wrong side of the road and Karamachand was also reassured that there are no ghosts.
