I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM

It was the rainy season, the cold breeze everywhere, leaves looked fresh. The rain dew on the leaves that shined like a morning star. The clouds were pale gray in colour. The town Glimmer was full of palm trees. The houses were built all over the slopes of the Glimmer hill. The exterior of houses made of teak wood and interiors with bamboo.

In this town, there lived a pretty girl named Aria. She belonged to a family of Gale, daughter of Mr.Gale and Mrs.Gale. Aria was a 19 years old girl. She had very long silky hair and her eyebrows looked like bows, her eyes sparkled like glimmering fish that shines in the bright day light. Her family owned a bakery. Which was maintained by her father and her younger brother. She had a good vocal, she was always praised for her pleasant voice. Every evening she used to attend vocal class.

One evening after her class, on the way home the weather suddenly became cold and started raining. She took shelter in a Dreyer’s ice cream corner. She enjoyed the weather and every little drop of rain. Suddenly she felt like enjoying the rain with her favorite ice cream. So she entered the Dreyer’s corner, chose a corner place near the window where she could enjoy the rain and ordered her favorite Gelato. There came the soft silky scopes of four different shades of ice cream topped on a poke with fruit seasonings. She enjoyed every bit of gelato with the drizzles of rain.

From then whenever rain arrives people could find Aria in Dreyer’s corner with her favorite gelato. In the ice cream corner there was a boy named Freyr who fell in love with Aria at first sight. She was such a beautiful and kind hearted girl whom he never met before in his life. Freyr was also a charming and handsome boy. He started to surprise Aria every day from then on. He started to write haiku poems for her describing her qualities and beauty. Which made Aria overwhelmed but she never knew who was doing all this. But whenever she enters Dryer’s her table will be ready with her gelato and a surprise card.

She admires each and every line he writes for her. Her eyes will start to search for the person but she never finds him. Her heart wandered like a butterfly every time. So many questions raised in her mind, “who he was and where he was and how he knew me?” She was able to find no answer for those questions. So she quietly returned back to her home. And this happened again and again whenever she visited. One day he sent a canvas with her portrait drawn by him. She didn't expect that and she loved it. Day by day he increased her curiosity to meet him.

Unfortunately the rainy season ended so quickly, winter holidays started. Aria was excited to visit her grandparents home in the countryside. Her excitement overpowered the thoughts of Dreyer's corner. Her grandparents Mr. Butler and Mrs. Grace welcomed her with so much love and care. First few days she was engaged with so many neighbors, friends and family members. And she visited so many new places with her grandparents.

She never remembered anything about the Dreyer's corner or about the gifts she received from the unknown person (Freyr). Whereas Freyr who always thinks about Aria and passes his winter days.

Days passed Aria as usual returning home after completing her class. While she was walking in the street of Dreyer’s corner she remembered the rainy days and thought of tasting her favorite ice cream. She saw an invitation board in front of the shop, mentioning a mask party. And also a message printed on it “ Introducing my love of lifeto the world at my birthday party, don't miss to attend it”. Aria had curiosity to attend the

party because she wanted to know who the person was and who he was.

So the next day she dressed well for the party. She received a mask and wanted to wear it. The party started, and the entire party hall was curious. Suddenly she heard a voice calling her name Aria, Aria. Her eyes started to search the voice. Finally she found that person who also wore another pair of her mask. The music started and they both started to dance. She removed his mask. She had fallen in love with him at first sight. He proposed to her and she accepted his love. The guests were happy for them.

They made their days very happy together. They used to spend some quality time in the Dreyer’s corner everyday. It was the place where their love bloomed. Some months passed and they decided to take their relationship to the next level so they planned to put

forth their love relationship to their parents. But unfortunately their parents were not ready to accept their love. So they decided to get married. They married without their parents' presence.

They both were very happy together but they didn't have any enough money to lead their life. They didn't have any job to earn. But they both were educated. They didn't have enough money to satisfy their meals. They had only 50 dollars in their hands. It was night, silent spreaded all over. But they both were very hungry. They were walking in the road and suddenly they thought of satisfying their hunger a bit by having ice cream. They

went to an ice cream shop and bought ice cream for 50 dollars. They ate that, even though it was not enough for them but they felt happy with that. They both wanted to do something to earn money and they thought of starting an ice cream business. Frery had a good experience working in the ice cream corner.

But they didn't have any money to start a business. So they just thought about what to do next. As a sign of God's blessing they found a pamphlet of a cooking competition that was to be conducted in a nearby town. The first prize was cashback of two thousand dollars. So they decided to participate in that competition. In that there are

three stages, they both are selected in the first stage. In the second stage there were so many difficulties. Even though they had some hope but had a little bit of fear. Hopefullythey were selected. They were happy to be part of the finalists. They decide to cook something innovative and to present it uniquely. They presented ice cream with interesting colours with natural food colours. At last they won the competition and got a cash prize of two thousand dollars.

They started a small ice cream business with that prize money. They named it “I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM”. They introduced many different flavors of ice cream and unique colours of ice cream. They named the flavors based on the moods like love, anger and smile. They also introduced special poke ice cream for kids, fluorescent pink for girls and fluorescent blue for boys with add-on toppings like sprinkles, choco chips and wafers with cartoon characters. They made poke made up of edible charcoal and the creams with natural fluorescent colours. Favorite flavor of Aria and Fryer was always red fluorescent.

This flavor refers to the love theme and this was the special flavor of their shop.

They had printed pamphlets to advertise their new ice cream shop. First few days

no one came to the ice cream shop. But one day a couple came to their shop. They asked about the special ice cream of the shop. Freyr explained about their unique edible charcoal poke and special fluorescent flavors and he also said about the red fluorescent flavor so the couple ordered for the same flavor. The customer after tasting it, they lovedevery munch of it. Aria and Freyr were happy that their customer loved it. But were also upset because they received only a few customers, so they planned to give some offers. After that many people started to engage the shop and now their ice creams became more popular to everyone. “I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM” became very famous in Glimmer town.

Freyr and Aria became rich and happy, and they developed their business. They succeeded in their life. When Aria’s parents came to know this they understood them and accepted them. At last they all were happy together.
