Preface:

Once upon a time Ramu and Geetha lived in a small village. Geetha was younger than Ramu. In the village, a fire accident happened and everything was burned in the fire. Ramu and Geetha were only escaped from the fire accident so they decided to move to another place. 

Scene 1

(Enter Ramu, Geetha, Old women, Ghost)

RAMU: Hey! Geetha there is a hut we can go there.

GEETHA: No Ramu, see this it is a forest area no one is here in this way.

RAMU: Yes, but I hope someone is there inside the hut. Let us go and check 

RAMU: Granny, Granny

OLD WOMAN: Come in my child what do you both want? 

RAMU: we want a house for rent, we have no place to stay, please can you help us.

OLD WOMAN: Ok my dr child. I will help you. You both can stay in this hut and you no need to pay rent for this hut. 

RAMU: Thank you, Granny but I will pay rent for our stay.

OLD WOMAN: No, my dr child no needs to pay any rent but you should do me a favor, besides this hut, there is a ghost If you need to stay here you should cook 2 pots full of food for the ghost and you should hide after serving the food, If the ghost once saw you the ghost will change you into stone. Remember the ghost will get angry if it sees any water nearby so be careful not to spill any water near the food pot. If you agree to these conditions you can stay here in this hut.

RAMU: aaaahh...! I am a little bit afraid but I have no other option to accept ur condition do we are ready to stay in this hut. 

OLD WOMAN: Ok my dr it's time for me to leave be careful and remember my condition.

(Exit Old woman)

RAMU: Geetha, Did you hear the words of Old woman. We should cook more food and we need to give 2 pots full of food to the ghost.

GEETHA: Yes Ramu, I heard but I'm very much scared, Ramu what we will do If the ghost saw us?

RAMU: Don't worry Geetha the ghost will not see us we will be careful.

GEETHA: Hmmm..., Ramu I cooked 2 pots meal for ghost and 1 pot for us.

RAMU: Ah, that's nice Geetha keep it here and come let's go and hide.

(Enter Ghost)

GHOST: Wow! 2 pots full of foods these all are for me I'm very happy and it was so delicious mmmm...

(Exit Ghost) 

RAMU: Geetha come out. The ghost left.

GEETHA: Thank God Ramu, today we manage to hide safely. 

RAMU: Hope this continues ever.

(Days Later)

Scene 2

(Enter Geetha, Ramu, Ghost, Old woman)

GEETHA: (soliloquy) Thank God! Today I cooked the food before the ghost's arrival. Ramu comes on its time we need to hide. 

(Both are hidden in)

(Enter Ghost)

GHOST: I'm very hungry wow! 2 pots full of food for me... I'm happy to eat. Wow, it's delicious!

(Suddenly Geetha fells down she got affected by fits)

RAMU: Geetha... Geetha... Wake up Geetha; wake up what happened to you?

(Ramu got an iron rod and made Geetha hold it and stop the fits. Geetha Recovered)

GEETHA: Ramu... Ramu... See the ghost is looking at us.

RAMU: Gosh!

GEETHA: Ramu what we can do? I'm very scared, please do anything otherwise the ghost will change us into stone.

RAMU: Hoo... No... Geetha I don't know what to do I am also very much scared.

GHOST: Hey! You guys are disturbing me while I am eating and I will change you into stone now, you both made me angry.

GEETHA: please... Please... Don't do us anything, please...

RAMU: No... No... Ghost please don't change us into stone, please ghost we will do anything for you so please don't change us into stone.

GHOST: Ok I will not change you into stone but you should give me 2 pots full of food daily otherwise I will change you into stone.

RAMU: Thank you Ghost, definitely daily we will provide you two pots full of food.

GHOST: Haa... Haaaa...

(Laughing violently)

(Exit Ghost)

GEETHA: boohoo... boohoo...

(Crying)

RAMU: Don't cry Geetha the ghost will not do us anything.

GEETHA: I am afraid Ramu It's very dangerous for us to stay here we shall leave this place.

RAMU: I know Geetha but we have no other option.

(Exit Ramu & Geetha)

Scene 3

(Enter Ramu, Geetha, Old woman)

OLD WOMAN: My dr children Are you both are fine?

RAMU: No Old woman, we are not fine the ghost saw us we are afraid and in danger.

OLD WOMAN: Hoo... No... My dr immediately you both leave this place I will give two horses for you both with the help of it move from this place but remember... the ghost will not leave you from this place it will follow you and will whisper into your ears to see it face.

GEETHA: Old woman what will happen If we saw its face?

OLD WOMAN: If you look at its face the ghost will change you into stone.

GEETHA: What??

OLD WOMAN: Don't worry dr child once you reached outside of the village the ghost will never follow you.

RAMU: Ok Old woman we will be careful and will try to reach the village border as faster as we could.

OLD WOMAN: My dr children you both can leave immediately.

GEETHA: Take care of you old woman.

OLD WOMAN: Don't worry about me and also don't forget my words and be careful.

RAMU: Geetha you go forward I will come after you.

(Enter Ghost)

GHOST: My dr child, don't leave this place turn to your back and see my face.

(Unfortunately, Ramu saw the ghost face and the ghost change him into stone. Before turning into stone Ramu shouted Geetha... After seeing him turning stone. Geetha was thinking about how to save his brother suddenly she got an idea.)

GEETHA: Hey..! Ghost...! If you dare turn me into stone.

GHOST: Ohh... You beacme fearless even after seeing your brother as stone.

(The ghost turned in the direction of Geetha suddenly Geetha poured a pail of water over the ghost in remembering the old woman's words that the ghost don't like water. After pouring the water the ghost destroyed and Ramu became a human again.)

RAMU: Geetha I am back what happened? where was the ghost?

GEETHA: I poured the water over the ghost and it vanished and it won't come again.

(Thereafter Geetha and Ramu along with old woman lived in the hut happily.)
