Hate Me, I Love You.....

Rajendra Sukla, a manager of a private firm living happily with wife Rashmi and daughter Asha. Rajendra used to say proudly about his daughter regarding her achievements to his colleagues. His daughter Asha was then in class five and ten years old.Everyday Rajendra loves to spend some quality time with Asha and Rashmi. Suddenly one day evening while they all are having their snacks, Rashmi complained of having pain in her chest and she started sweating. Immidiately Rajendra took Rashmi to the hospital and got her admitted there. Both Rajendra and Asha were waiting outside. The treatment was going on. Dictor came out and said, "Mr Rajendra, your wife had a serious heart attack, may be this is her third attack. We are trying our best, but it's now too late." Asha started crying after listening to the doctor. Rajendra took her to his side and consoled her. They waited in the hospital and prayed God.

In the early morning of next day around 7AM doctor informed Rajendra about sad dimise of Rashmi.Both Rajendra and Asha were in tears. Rajendra completed all formalities and took her wife's body fir cremation. By that time relatives reached and the last rituals were made. Asha was sitting in her room as a dumb child. Everybody were feeling very sad to see Asha in that condition. After the rituals were over Rajendra joined his office. He started taking care of Asha and doing cooking too. Asha was helping him in cooking and some other household works. After a year the relatives pressurized Rajendra to go for a second marriage, so that the family can again be taken care and Asha can get a mother's affection. Rajendra was very reluctant, but for making Asha's life better agreed for that.Asha while met her step mother Sushama, couldn't understand what to do. She could feel that may be her new mother can feel the vacume of mother's love

. When Rajendra told Asha that Sushama will give all her motherly love to her, then Asha was convinced. Sushama too started taking care of Asha and developed a good bonding with her. When Asha was in 9th class Sushama was blessed with a son. Asha was very happy to have a brother. She named her brother as Ravi Prakash. Both Rajendra and Sushama agreed and named their son as Ravi Prakash. Asha always feel happy to be with her little brother. Ravi too was very attached to Asha. Asha completed 12th and joined the college. Ravi was then around 3 years old. Asha started teaching her little brother. When Asha was in 1st year of BA Sushma gave birth to a daughter.They named her Sarita. Then Sushama's all attention was on Ravi and Sarita. Asha felt neglected. Ravi started going to school. Rajendra was started feeling that his Asha is getting neglected. Sushama always then for no reason started blaming Asha.

This was her hatredness. Asha had given final examination of BA. Susgama then gave all household responsibility to Asha. She was always trying to let Asha feel that she hate her. Asha could understand that but used to console herself by saying, "Hate me, I Love you."

When sarita was 3 years old and Ravi 6 years, both Rajendra and Sushama met with an accident and admitted in hospital in serious condition. Asha reached hospital with her younger brother and sister. By that time Rajendra lost his life. Asha controlled herself and gone to Sushama. She looked at Asha and said unclear words, " Please tak.... care... of......... ". That was the end of Sushama's life. Asha understood the unspoken words. She controlled her pain and finished the rituals of both Rajendra and Sushama.

Then Asha had taken the responsibility of both Ravi and Sarita. She started giving private tutions from home and teaching Ravi and Sarita. While Asha was in college her father's best friend Ramesh had asked Rajendra to get Asha married to his only son Rajan. Ramesh was a very rich businessman. Rajan and Asha knew each other and after several meetings they started loving each other. Unfotunate death of Rajendra had delayed their marriage. When Rajan proposed Asha to maary and both of them will take care of both Ravi and Sarita. Asha denied him saying that she didn"t want to put her burden on him. Rajan could understand Asha's thought. He smiled and said,"Ok, I will wait for you." After two years of death of Rajendra, his friend Ramesh passed away. Rajan then became parentless as from childhood he had list his mother. Rajan focused on his business.

Time passed on it's speed.Ravi completed engineering and got a job in Delhi. Asha was a very proud sister then. That time Sarita was doing her MBA.After two years Sarita completed her MBA and joined a MNC at Bangaluru. Asha had struggled to earn hrough her private tution and a coaching center to support both Ravi and Sarita to complete their education and settle in their life. She had grown them as her own children.Asha had grown them since they were completely unknown about the world. She had sacrificed all her own happiness for them because she loved Sushama, her step mother and she promised her at death bed. When the both got settled, Asha planned to get them married. She was still continuing with her tution and coaching center job. She saved money for the marriage of Ravi and Sarita. She had discussed her plans with Rajan, who still was a bachelor and waiting for Asha.

Asha was shocked when she heard from Sarita that she had married to a bank manager, who was her senier. They were in love and got married in the presence of Ravi.That day Asha cried before the photo of Rajendra, Rashmi and Sushama. She asked Sushama, " you hated me, I loved you. I regarded you as my mother as you gave me little love after marrying my father. But I always loved Ravi and Sarita. Why they did this to me? That night she couldn't sleep. Next day Asha made a call to Ravi to know about Sarita and him. Ravi replied, "Sarita is very happy. Yes I forgot to tell you that I too got married last year. We thought you may not like this, that's why not informed you. Others told us that a step sister is always step sister. We are thankful to you for taking care of our education, which you could have done through Dad's savings. If anything you need can tell me. I am ready to repay your care."Asha disconnected the phone. The very words of step sister and repayment of her care hurt her. She never dreamt about this. Suddenly she could feel that she will faint. Just she made a call to Rajan and fall down on the floor. Rajan picked the phone, but was in panic for not getting Asha's voice. Rajan rushed to Asha's place and found her unconcious. He took her to hospital. Doctor told Rajan that due to too much of stress and anxiety her BP was high. Rajan was in the hospital for that whole day. In the evening, when Asha was feeling better and doctor allowed him to visit then Rajan went to Asha. Asha was having tears in her eyes. She told Rajan about Sarita and Ravi She told about Ravi's reply.After two days Asha was discharged from hospital and Rajan dropped her.

After a week Rajan came to Asha and told her, "See Asha now you are alone. You had completed your responsibilities for Ravi and Sarita. You fullfilled your commitments. We both love each other and know each other. Now I can't leave you alone. If you agree we can get married. Asha looked at him and took his hand in her's and said,"I had given you only pains. Still you love me. I love you too, but I was burdened with responsibilities and duties. I am now 45 and you are 48.If you think getting married will be good, I can't say no."Rajan was happy andhe hugged Asha and said,"Then let me make the arrangements."Rajan discussed with priest and fixed the date. He printed the invitation card. He came to Asha and showed her the card and told her," We will have our relatives and maximum of around 200 guiests including the Chief Minister, some ministers and industrialist friends. As now I am the president of Industrialist Association, these people should be invited. You tell me anything you want to add."Asha looked at Rajan and said, " Let me inform both Sarita and Ravi. As you had planned, it's ok for me. " Then Asha made the first call to Ravi.

One lady received the call and said, " Hallo, I am Mrs Ravi Prakash. Pleae tell me who are you and what do you want? Now he is bit busy with his friends. "Asha replied," I am his elder sister and just want to take his 2 minutes time. Can I speak to him? "Then Ravi's wife replied," Oh, you are his step sister. Tell me what do you want, I will inform him. "Then Asha replied,"Thanks. Please inform him to make a call once he will be free."Then Asha kept the phone. Then she ranged to Sarita. Sarita received the call. Asha asked,"How are you? Ravi was telling me that you are having a happy life. My blessings are to you both."Then Sarita replued,"Thanks for this. See now I have to go with my husband to a party. If it's not that important then can we talk later?"Asha said," I am sorry to disturb you. Have a nice time. Bye. "

Rajan was watching all this. He told her don't feel bad. It happens in our life. Now you just send invitation card through speed post. If they come it's ok or else ok. Asha agreed and gave address to Rajan to do the speed post .

After 15days both Rajan and Asha got married. The C M of the state, ministers and top industrialists of country had come. That was been shown on TV screen in every news channel as Rajan is one of the leading industrialist of the country. Martiage was over. All the relatives left. Asha was missing Ravi and Sarita. She didn't speak about this to Rajan.

After two days of their marriage Ravi and Sarita came along with their wife & husband to Asha's house. Rajan received them and let them to sit in the drawing room and gone inside to inform Asha. Then Asha came with a folder and met them. Rajan too came and sat there as asked by Asha. For a few moment there was silence. Then all of them congratulated Asha and Rajan. Ravi started saying, "You got married, it's realy good. But it hurt both me and Sarita that you didn't tell us and send the invitation card. May be you had done as we had done. But then why send the invitation?" Asha gave a smile and replied, "You are wrong Ravi. I had not done like both of you did to me. I made a call to you and received by your wife saying me that you were busy with your friends. Even I requested her to inform you speak to me once were free. I made a call to Sarita on the same day yo inform, but she was dam busy to go to a party and was not having time to listen to me. Then we send this invitation card by speed post, which was received by both if you 16 days back.

This is not the same as you both did. For your information our marriage was been finalise before Sarita wa borned. Our Dad and Rajan's Dad were the best friends. Just for the ceremony they waited as I was to finish my college and Rajan to finish his MBA from USA. But in between the mishap in our family happened. Even after that Rajan wanted us to get married, but I denied that to fullfil my duties. It's not same." Asha then took the folder and got some papers out of it and handed over to Ravi by saying, "Here is the document of Dad's house, which I had made in both of your name. This is the bank document of Dad's all money for which I was the nominee, I transfered all that money in both of your name. Lastly these are two bank cheques in both of your name with the amount I had saved for your marriages. You both Hate Me, I Love You. My love is unconditional. You may think me step sister, but you both are my own brother and sister, I love you like my children." Then Asha stood up with tears in her eyes and went inside. Rajan told both Ravi and Sarita, " You all get fresh and we will have lunch. "He wanted to show them guest rooms, then both Ravi and Sarita started saying," we can't show our face to her. Please excuse us. Please tell her to give us pardon. They left with tears and the burden of their wrong doings to Asha.....
