Happy Motherhood

It's my birthday today. I am very excited. I have ample of plans. Since it's a weekend the day becomes more special. Unlikely I wake up at 6:30 in the morning.Without delay I took a refreshing bath and went to the Pooja room. My mother was already chanting prayers. After she completes she hugged me tightly and wished me happy birthday. Today is my 18 th birthday. I have transformed from a teenager to an adult. It's been a long journey. I said to my mom" I will go out with Sneha and Ritu by 9 am. So will have breakfast with them" My mother was disappointed by my sudden plan.She said " I have cooked your favourite pancakes. Ask your friends to join you for the breakfast at house." I replied" We already have made our minds " My mother smiled and handed me a gift , before I could open it I received a phone call from Ritu. Mom they are waiting outside, I need to go I said in hurry and rushed out. We had a good time together.

I then returned home by 12. I asked my mom not to cook anything as I was already full. She didn't question me as it was a special day. I went straight to my room and had a long nap. I woke up by my phone ringtone. It's another call from Suraj. He said we have organised a suprise for you. Come soon. I was excited. Who don't like suprises. I went out informing my mother.  

I went out and found Tara and other friends on Suraj's car calling me to sit inside. I went running. Every one wished me happy birthdays. I was indeed happy. We were heading towards the highway when suddenly the car stoped. Every one enquired what happened. Sad we found that the car is puncture. Suraj and Rajesh began to replace the tier.Ohh god how can I forget to see mom's gift. She might be upset. I went out away from crowd and opened the raper. What !! This necklace, I have wished always. It was so expensive. How come she afford it. Mom are indeed amazing creature. They remember your dreams more that our own self. The know us the best. And sacrifice, learn it from a mother said an old wise man.

I excused myself and went straight to my house. My mother was preparing for dinner. She opened the door after hearing the bell and was shocked to find me. She asked in worry " What happened is everything ok" I replied in yes and hugged her for the gift. I took her to the terrace and shouted "Suprise". My mother was more shocked than been happy. 

My childhood photos hang over and a chocolate cake kept in the centre with balloons around. I began to speak my heart out

You are my life. My friend, teacher, god, love everything. Indeed god is not everywhere that's the reason he made god. Am blessed to have you. Happy motherhood. Today is not only my special day but yours too. You began a new chapter of life. Ready to sacrifice your dreams and happiness for me. You held me for the first time. The first and last day when you were happy to see me cry. You are wonderful and beautiful. I love you maa. 

My mother hugged me tight and began to cry.
