George – The Taste of Success
Title: George – The Taste of Success
George was a unique young man. He wasn’t from a privileged background, nor did he belong to a big city. Born in a small village and educated in a modest government school, George used to ride his bicycle every morning to attend class. His friends often mocked him — sometimes calling him “the walking bookworm” and sometimes joking, “Forget studies, take over your father's shop instead.”
But George lived life through the eyes of inner vision. He had an unshakable belief in himself — that one day, he would do something big, not just to be liked, but to be respected.
He passed his school exams with top ranks and went on to study engineering in a city college. After graduating, he founded a tech startup called “GramLink” — a platform that directly connected rural farmers with urban markets, cutting out middlemen and increasing profits for small farmers.
The first year was tough. Nobody believed that a village boy could create something technologically advanced enough to rival city-based logistics giants. People made memes on Facebook and WhatsApp:
“George is now competing with Google!”
“Our village’s little techy wants to be the next CEO!”
But George didn’t flinch.
For every criticism, he smiled.
For every sarcastic joke, he worked harder.
He used their words as fuel.
One day, GramLink got featured in a national newspaper. The same people who mocked him now invited him to speak at community events. At one such gathering, someone asked, “George, how did you stay focused with so much criticism around?”
George replied with a quiet smile:
“Criticism is the confirmation of success. People only throw stones at a tree that’s bearing fruit. And sometimes, they want a bite of your success, even if it means biting you. So I stayed rooted, like that tree.”
The crowd fell silent, but their hearts clapped.
From a mocked boy on a bicycle to the founder of a revolutionary company, George’s journey proved a simple truth — success is never silent, and neither is criticism. But when you learn to hear criticism as applause in disguise, the journey becomes beautiful.
And George… he just kept pedaling forward.
