Belated Confession.

Dear Suhani,

There was a friend who entered my life quietly — without announcement, without ceremony — and yet, she left fingerprints on my soul. Suhani is still that silent presence in my mind.
She may never fully know how she changed me. It wasn’t through grand speeches or dramatic moments. It was in the pauses — the way she listened when I struggled to find words. The way she believed in me when I could only see my flaws. The way her silence sometimes said, “You are enough.”
In life, some thank-yous remain unspoken. Perhaps mine did too. So let me say it now.
Thank you for teaching me gentleness in a world that celebrates noise.
Thank you for showing me strength that does not shout.
Thank you, Suhani, for caring without conditions, without calculations.
Before you, I measured myself by achievements. After you, I began measuring myself by kindness. You made me understand that success without compassion is hollow, and that courage sometimes looks like vulnerability.
There are moments I wish I had expressed more — more appreciation, more admiration, more honesty. But even in what remained unsaid, you shaped me. You changed the way I see women — not as roles or expectations, but as entire universes of resilience, emotion, and quiet power.
If I am softer and braver ,it is because you showed me how.
Some people pass through our lives.
You became a part of mine.
My belated confession with gratitude, that took time to find its voice.
Yours,
1-26.
¬It is not a confession of love. It is a confession of gratitude to my Suhani. And that will be rare.
