Jab we met. When I foresaw the title and the promo I didn't think it would please me so much as the actual movie. But when I watched it for the first time, I unknowingly dwelled into the character of Geet.
The first half of the movie seems all about the Hero but actually, it shows the Freebird character of Geet. The way she befriends a stranger and tries to boost up his morale is really appreciable. Now the twist starts. The Hero starts loving her and manipulates her boyfriend. He becomes his best friend and gains his confidence. One day he deliberately shows his intimate picture with Geet to him.
In the later half, the situation of judgment arises. Geet leaves her family to stay with her boyfriend. But her boyfriend doubts her and asks her to leave as she had been unfaithful to him.
This time, Geet doesn't go back to her home or school or anything. She starts her own blog and writes something. She gains audience and followers. After a year, she is going to be awarded as the author of the best seller novel, " Jab We Met" by Mr. Shah, the CEO of a reputed company. She goes to the aisle and is surprised to see none other than the Hero himself.
She tries to avoid him but he chases hero. He tells her that he purposely instigated about her in her boyfriend's mind and is looking for her to ask for her sorry for a year. Geet doesn't forgive her and walks ahead of him.
"This ends up her last chapter of my Mom's novel", says Meet, Geet, and her boyfriend's daughter on her eighteenth birthday and also her Mom's death anniversary.
