Every Friday, I let out my characters which I have weaved using my brain and heart with whom I had talked, laughed and cried immensely to give them a life in my writing!

And, whenever I re-read it or go through it, they question me and sometimes just thank me.

But today, I got a weary dream like all my characters being transformed into horses (white, black, brown and mixed) and running fiercely on the race court controlled by a jockey. I see them running on the race just to win the cash price and not feeling happy for participating in it. I see their pleading eyes and could feel the pressure they are undergoing instilled by the jockey as well as the audience.

Don't our lives sound very similar to these horses?

We have many pressures upon us and we run a race to reach the goal-set forgetting to live the moment.

Pressures are ought to be handled, isn't it? Instead of letting them dominate you, travel with it and seek it out then and now.

Money isn't everything, so live the moment and enjoy the little things in life. Be it a plant growing from a fertile soil or a fish swimming in a clean tank!

Pressures must make you realise your strength and weakness but not push you down, I say to my horses.

They jumped high and rested their forelegs on the ground without losing their balance.

I don't know why I got this dream but it instilled hope in me.

She drafted one more article.

Saved as: Lesson learnt - Victory isn't everything.
