Festival and festivities are the most joyous occasions specially in our country India which has so many different and diverse cultures and traditions. Each State and regions have specific festivals that signify their culture and history. Learning about them is in itself a very enriching experience. Most of us look forward to these events that bring everyone together where specific events are organised and enjoyed. These celebrations are for the fortunate ones. Today we will talk about those children who are not so lucky. Risabh Sir good morning wished his office staff. Happy Diwali wishes to you and your family Sir shouted all his Office staff. He was the collector of that place who had taken charge a week ago. Risabh was known for his honesty, philanthropy and hard work. He was considered to be a very Sincere and simple person. Risabh had a proven record of the same. After the initial process of wishing each other etc. He ordered for sweets that was paid by him so that he could share it with his Office staff. He even made a very nice gesture of offering sweets to the sweeper of the office, the driver's, lift man and the gate keeper too. After this small celebration Risabh continued checking the pending files. By evening he was through with that day's work and was ready to go home. He had a very important task to attend to. Yes, to celebrate the festival of lights with his dear family consisting of his wife, two lovely children and his elderly parents. And he had another dear family consisting of very lovely angels who stayed in an orphanage that he patronized since a long time. Even though Risabh got transferred to the place recently he had lived there as a child and as an adolescent as well. His father was a patron of that particular Orphanage and Risabh used to accompany him whenever possible. This was the practice they had. The residence of Risabh was decked up and it was aglow as about 26 orphans. Flashed their million-dollar smiles as they joined Diwali celebrations marked mirth, lights and colour. The children aged 4 to 15 were special guests of Risabh and his family members, who were keen that the festival instill positivity in the residents of the orphan rehabilitation Centre. The children were either abandoned by their parents due to their own personal reasons. For many it was the first Diwali celebrations they had ever seen. The children arrived at Risabh's Home accompanied with the caretaker of the orphanage. The children were taken around the House to help them shed their inhibitions and mingle with all of the family members and other guests. The children were served delicious food and desserts. They were made to play with crackers under supervision. They even got gift hampers which included new clothes, books and sweets. The children were extremely happy and elated. Their eyes were shining and bright which were nothing less than the Diwali lights. Risabh and his family felt so good and delighted that they were given a chance to spread brightness in the lives of these young children who did not have got a chance to have had a great day and experience so far in their lives. Un questionably this was the best celebration of the festival of lights to the young kids and Risabh and his family and they were feeling a great amount of satisfaction and contentment.
