Its told ever since she appeared first that her vision means death. People called her Edith, telling numerous tales about the misfortunes her name brought to people.

Once it was about the little girl who dreamt of a faceless woman dressed in white sitting beside her looking at her. Scared out of her wits, the mother killed her own daughter saying that she was possessed by Edith. The mother was found dead by the morning, scratched all over and the daughter sitting on the swing, alive.

Another account of such paranormal experiences was about the priest who kept his pregnant wife locked in the church's basement because he suspected her of witchcraft and devil possession. After eight months, the church basement was opened after the mysterious death of the priest and near the priest's wife's dead body laid a newborn girl. There were scratches all over the basement's walls saying vaguely 'Edith'. The priest's wife was proved to have died a week later, she was locked out of starvation.
