DAUNTLESS

Note: This story had been based on 2019 Pollachi Sexual assault incidents and several incidents were adapted from real-life incidents and the things, that I observed around in my hometown Pollachi. Characters were loosely influenced from the novel The Keys to the Streets.

NDG COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE:

COIMBATORE, 2020:

12:30 PM:

Around 12:30 PM, the library had been in full crowd at NDG College of Arts and Science. Around the left side, people are taking names for the one, who have came for donating their blood. Near to the canteen, juniors and senior students are standing together and discussing some topics. A girl, with her hairs loosened comes towards the library, with her tiny eyes and beautiful facial expressions.

Boys looked at her and one of the boy said: "She looks gorgeous. Wow!"

She had been followed by her boyfriend, who shouts: "Vikashini. Stop there. Don't go for donating your blood. Please. I beg you!" However, she refuses and proceeds to go there for donating her blood saying: "I am sorry Naresh. I am going to donate my blood."

Against his will, Vikashini donates her blood. With his eyes turning red and hands shivering out of rage and anger, Naresh walks straight to her and slaps her in the face saying: "I said not to donate your blood citing your health conditions. But, without listening to my words, you are donating your blood. What kind of girl are you di?"

Everyone looks at her laughing and Vikashini feels humiliated. After the classes are over, Naresh realizes his mistakes and goes to Vikashini for asking forgiveness. However, she asked him: "Ok. I will forgive you. But I wanted to ask this question to men!"

As he looked at her, she asked him: "You are men. So whatever mistakes you do, we have to forgive. Am I right?"

Naresh looked at her sadly and she asked him: "Ok. I am forgiving you. Will you forgive me, if I do the same mistake like you?" Naresh struggles to answer and said: "I will somehow forgive you Vikashini."

However, she gets irked and says to him: "Love isn't something natural Naresh. Rather it requires discipline, concentration, patience, faith and the overcoming of narcissism. We can't be a good lovers anymore. So, good bye. Don't follow me anywhere, from now."

Before leaving, Vikashini turned to Naresh and said: "Naresh. I can never be safe; I always try and go against the grain. As soon as I accomplish one thing, I just set a higher goal. That's how I've gotten to where I am."

She shifts to Tidal Park house, where her friends are staying in a group of hostels, spread across the place. Tidal Park is 1 km from her college. To the right side of the road, there's a board depicting the name of Tidal Park. In the park road, there are several roads, that had been separated from various corner. The girl finds a new apartment with the help of her friend Anjana. She stays with her friend.

Meanwhile, Naresh goes to the Department of Commerce block. Taking direction to the upstairs, he goes straight to Room.no 421, where he asked a student: "Hey. Did Adhithya Srinivas came to the class?"

The student looked at him gaze and left the class. While, one of the class student recognized Naresh by looking a tattoo of lion in his left hand and walks towards him. He asked: "Hey Naresh. How are you da?"

Looking at him, he said: "Oh Abhin. I am fine da. Where is Adhithya Srinivas da?"

Thinking a while, Abhin said: "I think he could have gone somewhere to the Club for a work da. Wait for a minute. I will ask him to come." He called Adhithya and said about Naresh. Adhithya comes to the class, where the students are surprised and confused. Because, both of them are look-alikes and their face is identical, without any differences.

After clearing up the confusions, Naresh reveals the problem that happened between him and Vikashini because of her blood donation against his wishes. Adhithya laughed to the core and said: "Naresh. Life is very interesting. In the end, some of your greatest pains, become your greatest strengths. So, don't worry about her." Abhin laughed upon hearing this.

Naresh becomes frustrated and shouts at them for ridiculing him. However, Adhithya consoled him and asked: "You still love her truly?"

With tears filling up his eyes, Naresh said: "Yes da. Because, our love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies. It never dies off."

Looking at Vikashini's friend Aadhini, Adhithya asked: "Aadhini. Where is Vikashini staying right now?"

Aadhini replied him, "She is staying at Tidal Park, Adhithya." Adhithya looked at Naresh and said: "Brother. Come. Let's take a house at Tidal Park."

Naresh accepts. Taking their luggage and dresses from the hostel, they shifts to Tidal Park. With the help of his school friend Raghuram, Adhithya managed to settle in an outside hostel. To the left, right and center of their hostel, there are several people(from old man to influential people) living.

Rajendran, an old-dog walker, comes there twice a day to take the shih tzu Gushi out along with five other dogs. A retired Navy officer from Indian Army, he is a healthy and strong man even at the age of 60 years. Adhithya tries each and every trick along with his friends to convince Vikashini, but in vain. She is not ready to forgive Naresh.

FEW DAYS LATER:

A few days later, Adhithya attends his classes with full attendance, after several days of on-duty. He was forced to be on-duty due to his prior works for competition, club activities and several ongoing problems in the college. Using this as an opportunity to speak up Vishalini, a naïve and beautiful girl in the class, decides to talk with him about her love.

During the break, Vishalini texts him a message in her Whatsapp asking him to come for the café nearby their department. Sitting in a chair, Adhithya asked her: "What do you want to order Vishalini? Tea, coffee or hot chocolate?"

She felt hesitant and said: "Mm. One Hot Chocolate."

To the waiter, Adhithya said: "Brother. For me, one Black Coffee."

Looking at him, Vishalini surprisingly asked: "Why Black Coffee? Don't you drink Milk Coffee?"

Adhithya laughed and said: "It's not good for my health, you see!" She laughed. As the waiter came inside to deliver the item they had preferred, the duo stopped their conversation for a while. Looking at each other, Adhithya continued asking her: "What do you want to talk with me Vishalini? Tell me quickly."

"Ah! I wanted to talk this for several days since the reopening of our second year. But, I didn't get a right chance to open up my convo with you Adhithya." Hanging off a call and putting the phone in silent mode, she continued saying: "Adhithya. Since the middle of First year, I love you sincerely. The way you converse with your friends, the way you motivate other people, the way you served as an inspiration to your fellow mates really shined and impressed me a lot. I love you. I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you."

Hearing this, Adhithya looks as though a thunder from the sky have hit him harder. He was not in his terms, due to the shock. Throwing the cup to the dustbin, Adhithya said: "Vishalini. You're my good friend. But, I never thought you in the way called love. See. Love is not my cup of tea. I and Naresh have went through so much of pain, depression and agony in the name of love. Lots of betrayal, cheating and vengeance in the name of love since childhood days. I don't believe much in love. So, it's better if we stop this topic here itself. As I doesn't want to get our relationship affected in the name of love."

The happiness in Vishalini's face disappeared quickly upon hearing this from Adhithya. Tears whispered her eyes and sadness covered her whole face. She turned pale and said: "Adhithya. I gave you my heart, I just didn't expect to get it back in pieces. Will see you later. Bye!" She takes her bag and goes back to her class.

Meanwhile, Vikashini makes an appointment with Yogesh, the leukaemia patient whose life she prolonged. Although he is secretive about his private life and doesn't want her to see his brother she starts to take care of him, much to the dislike of Naresh. Adhithya becomes furious upon learning this from his brother. He wanted to blur out the hidden truth to her, which Naresh refuses saying to him: "Adhithya. Our goal is more important than love. So, don't get trapped in emotions and depression. Remember our past life." Adhithya calms down upon hearing this.

Homeless people live in and around Tidal Park, including prominent businessman of Sundarapuram named Gopalakrishnan. He owns a chain of mill, industry, hotel, motel and departmental stores all over India. Yet, he prefers the street life despite having a big bungalow in Singanallur. Adhithya, Vikashini, a few of their friends and Naresh observed him during the midnight and gets impressed with his kind attitude.

They talks with him. Gopalakrishnan asked the guys: "Guys. What do you want to become in the future?"

"I wanted to become a film actor and film director sir" said Adhithya Srinivas. Naresh looked at him in vexation and said to the businessman: "I wish to become a photographer and forest officer uncle." Impressed with his answer, Gopalakrishnan asked: "Why you prefer to go for photography?"

"I wanted to explore the beauty of our nature uncle. I like to research about the life of each and every animals, plants in the hills, mountains and forest ranges." Naresh said this and when Adhithya is asked the question, he said: "Money sir. Money is what money does. I believe in this concept. Using my talent, I wanted to earn more and more money in my life." As he said this, Gopalakrishnan said: "But. Money is not everything in your life man. You can't buy a good health, you can't buy a good environment with this money. Remember." Hearing this, Adhithya asked him: "Uncle. Why you live in streets?"

Thinking a while, he said: "Like every men, I also got married to a lady called Annapoorani. She is everything in my life pa. We got a beautiful daughter. In the remembrance of my deceased friend, I named her as Anusha. I created beautiful world for my daughter. We did a lot for her sake. But, when she was in her college, some of her friends kidnapped her to Makkinampatti of Pollachi. The guys sexually assaulted her and video tapped it. Unable to face the humiliation, she hanged herself along with my wife. From that time, I am in this street, wandering around without finding peace." He wiped off his tears after saying this. Adhithya and Naresh felt emotional upon hearing this from him.

"There are problems in the life of each and every human beings sir. For rich, they don't have a peaceful life, in spite of having so much money. For poor, they regret for their lifestyle. Each of our people are affected by some problems. What kind of life this is sir!" Vikashini said in frustration. Then, one of the people asked Gopalakrishnan: "Sir. Didn't you file a case against the culprits?"

"They are more rich and powerful than me ma. Henceforth, the perpetrators escaped using their influence and money." Gopalakrishnan said: "Late justice is denied justice." A few days later Jessie, a student of GRD College of Arts and Science finds a corpse over the spikes of the park gate.

She makes an anonymous phone call to the police. The police reach the spot and finds out the victim's name as Mithilesh, a guy from Thippampatti Taluk of Pollachi. The newspaper nickname the killer "Dauntless."

A second victim follows: Pranav, a bike showroom owner to the right side of Coimbatore Medical College, who always roams with his Kawasakhi Ninja 300 bike in and around the Tidal Park road. The case gets complicated and police is unable to solve this case. Due to the accusations of the opposition party leaders and owing to the defamation of the ruling party, Chief Minister transfers the case to CBI, who appoints ACP Abinesh Iyer IPS to investigate the mysterious murders in Coimbatore district.

Abinesh Iyer is from the region of Rayalaseema, known for crude bombings and factionalism. Being a victim of factionalism, he stayed away from the path of violence and studied for IPS. With his intelligence and presence of mind, Abinesh eradicated the problem of politics and violence in his region, which was widely appreciated by many people.

Now, he comes to Coimbatore, where he studied the case history of the victims. In both the cases of victims, they were subject to brutal tortures. Mainly the murderers have targeted the genital part of the victims, making Abinesh to suspect stronger that something is strange in this. Upon investigating in depth, he comes to know that, "This method of torture is prominent in Sri Lanka and China, where culprits were subject to brutal flogging, beatings in their private parts."

When meeting the post-mortem reporter, he says to Abinesh: "Sir. The killer have studied in depth about the tortures in China and Sri Lanka sir. After subjecting these two to tortures, they applied oil for him and again tortured them for one week. For one week, they have given these guys a hell bent journey to make them feel the pain of death."

Abinesh suspects Mithilesh's classmate Monish, because he has accused the victim of beating his girlfriend Lavanya and had plans to pay Joseph, a drug addict, to beat up Mithilesh when he returns from Sri Krishna College of Arts and Science to go for his home place Pollachi(towards Ukkadam-Sundarapuram road).

Taking Monish under custody, Abinesh asked him: "Monish. If you accept the truth, it's good enough for you. If you don't you could see my other face."

Monish looked into his eyes and said: "Sir. I didn't kill Mithilesh. I am innocent sir." The Inspector nearby Abinesh gets angered and took the sticks asking him: "Did you think us as film directors ah da? Acting this much! Tell us the truth. Or else!"

Abinesh asked him to cool down and said: "Why are you getting angered sir? If someone speaks like this, we shouldn't talk a lengthy dialogue. You have to apply an oil in the stick and then, have to beat him like this." Abinesh brutally beats up Monish and shouted: "Tell us the truth da. What happened? How was Mithilesh killed?"

Monish fears and said: "Sir. It was indeed true. I hired Joseph to beat up Mithilesh, when he heads for Pollachi. Unexpectedly, he came to Tidal Park for an important work. When we followed him, we were trapped in the traffic."

Now, Joseph said: "We managed to track Mithilesh's location in a nearby street by finding out his bike sir. Finding a secluded building, we found Mithilesh being tied up by two mysterious people. They tortured him brutally sir. Without making any noise, we ran out of fear from that place sir."

Abinesh released Monish and Joseph. When Joseph leaves, Abinesh said to him: "Joseph. Drugs and Alcohols are the door to hell. Don't rely on these two things hereafter. Try to reform yourself." He includes Joseph's name to board him in a rehabilitation center, organized by the police department of Tamil Nadu.

FEW WEEKS LATER:

Meanwhile, Vishalini starts to doubt Adhithya and his brother Naresh. For the past few weeks, she have been observing and following the duo in order to learn about their daily activities. Because, Adhithya refused to participate and failed to turn up for an important competition, organized by the college, much to the charge-in of the College Principal, who had immense trust and hope in him.

TIDAL PARK:

12:30 PM:

Meanwhile, Vikashini starts asking questions about Yogesh and his mysterious brother Visvajith when they were relaxing in the shadow of a Palm tree. The same time, a witness meets Abinesh, to whom he claimed: "Sir. I saw one of the murderers of Mithilesh, when I went to collect waste from the secluded building sir."

Abinesh nodded his head and brings a drawing artist, who drew the face of Visvajith. Now, he goes to the Tidal Park, where he questions about Visvajith. Yogesh said: "Sir. He is my elder brother. Why?"

Standing back somewhere in the nearby road, Raghuram informs the problem to Adhithya and Naresh, who immediately runs from their class, watched by their HOD mam and friends(Sanjay, Rishivaran, Rishi Khanna and Dayalan). Abhin gets an important message from Kathirvel, who hadn't turned up to the class for some unknown reasons.

Alerting Sharan, they both rushes to the Parking lot. Surprised by this, Vishalini too followed them in her car and reaches the Tidal Park. Abinesh tries to take Yogesh and Visvajith, watched by an disturbed Vikashini.

"Brother. We have came in. Don't worry." Naresh said. He fixed bombs in the cars of police which forced them to put their heads down.

In between the gap, Adhithya and Naresh rescues Yogesh. Visvajith comes with Kathirvel and the people take Vikashini as a hostage in the Mahindra XUV 300 car of Sharan. While, Adhithya kidnapped Vishalini. She is taken by him in her own car. The police by then realize, the bomb is dummy. Angered, they follows the car, in which the guys are travelling.

"Fast, Fast, faster" said Abinesh. When they were following him, two similar Mahindra XUV 300 overtakes them. The register number is similar in all the three, which confused and shocks Abinesh. Taking his gun, Abinesh tries to shoot the car. However, Yogesh gives a licensed gun to Adhithya, with which he shoots Abinesh's car tire, that eventually gets punctured.

"Cha! Hey…" Abinesh shouts in frustration.

ANAIMALAI:

5:30 PM:

Standing at the bridge of Azhiyar river in Anaimalai, Vikashini said: "I became mad by growing up close with you Naresh. But, I didn't realize you are a murderer." Vishalini slapped Adhithya left and right. Holding his shirt tighter, she asked him: "Why did you cheat me da? I blindly believed you and proposed my love too. But, I feel dejected now. Even after committing sins, how dauntless you all are!"

Sharan said to them: "For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction Vishalini. You both doesn't know why we all did these murders!" When they were speaking, Gopalakrishnan comes in his car. Vikashini and Vishalini begs him to save them from the clutches of these guys.

However, he looked at them gaze and said: "I am also there in this ma. Indeed, I trained up these guys to kill those two people to a brutal death." Now, Yogesh apologized to Vikashini and said: "I am not a leukmania patient Vikashini. All was a set up to sit in the Tidal Park."

Naresh too apologized her for acting like slapping her. Now, Adhithya said: "Before you know about our cause for murder, you all should know about our hometown Anaimalai. Then, you all should know about our people and culture." He continued saying: "You all should know about our family and my unconditional love to Vinusha."

FEW MONTHS BACK:

Adhithya's hometown is Anaimalai. It's located 18 kilometres from Pollachi. It's a leading commercial centre. Due to its scenic beauty, Pollachi and it's surrounding hamlets has influenced several motion pictures made in South India. The temples of Masani Amman, Mari Amman and Subramanya are three major shines in the region. Anaimalai Wildlife Sanctuary, Topslip, Valparai, Azhiyar Dam, Monkey Falls, The Pollachi Market, etc., etc. etc. are there in Pollachi.

Adhithya and Naresh hail from the family of Gounders. At first their ancestors owned acres of land and were rich. However one of their grandfather Kasiyappa Gounder killed a Muslim man as an act to save a women from getting abducted by him. Before dying, he leaves a statement about his death, prompting them to sell all their lands to the British in order to win the case, that time.

For 31 years, Adhithya's grandfather Rajalingam Gounder fought against the British people, being influenced by the ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi, Subash Chandra Bose and K. Kamaraj. Adhithya and Naresh's father Swamilingam Gounder studied EEE in a reputed college of Coimbatore and later on, studied M. Tech in IIT(Indian Institute of Technology) and MBA(In Indira Gandhi University). He is rich and shrewd businessman, settled in Palakkad district of Kerala.

Even after earning several money and being educated, Swamilingam strongly oppose inter-caste marriage, which fears his sons to love a girl, belonging to another caste. Their fears increased when he said: "If you love inter-caste girl like my cousin, I won't accept you. Instead, I will kill you both." Since, two of their cousins married from other caste. However, Swamilingam forgives them and accepted the couples.

Swamiligam is however, a good hearted person. He maintains a good relationship with his colleagues, employee and other staffs. He donates money to poor and orphaned children in a trust nearby the city and is an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva.

Whenever festivals are announced in Masani Amman Temple, he is the first person to come for the place and celebrate the festival along with his family members. Adhithya and Naresh's mother left them in their very young age due to her constant fights and troubles with their father, which prompted him to divorce her and give a share of his property. He never met them after divorce and prefers to be happier with his sons.

Although Naresh is willing to see his mother's family, Adhithya stiffly stays against his ideas and threatens to inform their father, if he goes against him. Thus, prompting him to obey the words of Adhithya. Though the sons are responsible, Swamilingam is little bit worried about Adhithya's irresponsibility and awkward nature. He decides to send him off to Anaimalai, where one of his friend Giridhan is staying at Semanampathy.

Naresh said to his father: "Dad. You see. One day, he and I would become famous in this state."

Swamilingam however said: "My sons. It's your responsibility to run my business in future. And this year, you both have to take care of the temple festivals, conducted in Masani Amman Temple."

He ordered his cousins: Yogesh and Visvajith to train his sons in Agriculture. Further, Swamilingam informed his close friend Gopalakrishnan: "Friend. My sons are coming to Anaimalai. It's your duty to take care of them with much affection and love." He agreed by saying: "I will take care, my friend. They are like my sons."

He is wearing traditional shirt and dhoti, sitting in a phone shop. A few months later- Adhithya, Kiran, Naresh, Yogesh, Visvajith, Abhin, Kathirvel and Sharan went for Pollachi in an Express train, that heads towards Salem via. route to Pollachi and Udumalai. When travelling, Adhithya sees a girl, wearing traditional sari and sitting near to the lower berth. He feels impressed with her humanity and compassion for an elderly couple.

When he asked her the reason for this, the girl said: "I firmly believe in Bhagavad Gita bro. Do everything you have to do, but not with ego, not with envy but with love, compassion, humility and devotion. It is better to live your own destiny imperfectly but happily than to live an imitation of somebody's life with perfection and sorrow." Her words deeply touched the heart of Adhithya and he changed his perspectives about life.

"What's your name? May I know please?" She looked at him through her eyes and said: "My name is Vinisha."

After staging a drama with the help of his friends, Adhithya sits near to her seat and they discuss about their respective family. Adhithya says, "He is in the fourth semester at NDG College of Coimbatore with his brother Naresh and lies that he is rich guy." While, Vinisha says: "I study in Krishna College of Arts and Science. My family is from Udumalaipet. But, for business purposes, we settled in Anaimalai."

"Oh! Anaimalai ah? You know my father Swamilingam Gounder?"

Looking here and there by thinking, Vinisha said: "How could I forget him? After my parents died in an accident, it was he who sponsored my education. Such a great human being with a golden heart, you know!"

After reaching Pollachi, there are some warm greetings from Gopalakrishnan Gounder, who have came along with his friend: Naseerudin and few more people from Anaimalai. Seeing all these things, Naresh questioned: "Uncle. Why all these things?"

"You are the next people to look after your father's business man. So only all these things." Naseerudin said, to which Adhithya laughed and replied: "Uncle. We never expect these invitations and celebrations. We like to be simple." Vinisha at this time, realized that the guys are Swamilingam's sons with the help of Gopalakrishnan. Going to Anaimalai in a car, the guys enjoy the beauty of the place. Everywhere, there are shops, departmental stores and hotels.

They enjoy the city for some days and later on, Adhithya turns serious after meeting his uncle Giridharan, who runs an acre of Farming in Semanampathy. Going there, he and Naresh learns about farming and the tricks to become rich with agriculture as a profession. Adhithya forms a close relationship with Vinisha and falls in love with her. The same time, the brothers formed a sister bonding with Gopalakrishnan's daughter Aadhiya, who is studying in NGM College of Pollachi.

Everything were going fine, until a call shattered the life of the brothers and his family completely. The brothers rushed to the spot of Polytechnic College road, where they see Aadhiya, sitting sadly in the road. The nearby people said to Adhithya: "Guys. Some men kidnapped her in a car and had did something to her. As she shouted for help, the guys had left her as such in the roads."

Rescuing her, Adhithya asked: "Aadhiya. Tell me. What happened? Who are they?"

Initially hesitant, Aadhiya later tells: "Brother. I and my friends used to do some extra works for money other than college hours. During that time, a guy named Mithilesh grew close with her in the college. They fell in love and today, he took her in his car. Three of his friends entered inside the car and removed her clothes. Taking her chain, necklace and money, they assaulted her sexually and as she shouted for help, they left her as such in the roads."

Furious, Naresh files a police complaint with SP Jogendra Perumal IPS. However, he works on the payroll of the guys and informs them about this incident. The gang's leader Dhanush asked his friends: Mithilesh, Pranav and Senthil to solve the issue. Dhanush's father MP Gajendran is influential and have the support of the Chief Minister. Being rich, he is dauntless and doesn't regret for the crimes, that he commits.

Mithilesh, Pranav and Senthil attacks Naresh. As a retribution, Adhithya brutally beats them up and recovers their phone forcibly. Tying up the guys along with Dhanush, he comes to know from the phone about several shocking incidents: More than 500 to 1000 women were harassed sexually and raped by the guys. Since 2007, the guys have kidnapped young girls to teachers and several women to satisfy their lust for women. They have used a farmhouse and land for these cheap activities.

"You have spoiled the reputation of our hometown itself eh da." Adhithya brutally beats the guys and exposes these atrocities to the public. It causes an widespread outrage in the city with opposition party protesting against it. However, they back off after knowing their involvement in this and later on, women from various college beats up the guys, motivated by Adhithya and Naresh.

Vinisha beats Dhanush with her slippers. Hitting his nose, she asked him: "Will you rape women again?" He begged for forgiveness. Adhithya now said to him: "Rise of the women= Rise of the nation da. You are men, so act like that." Although arrested by the police at the beginning, they sooner released the guys through influence and bail.

Until the case is resolved, Dhanush is asked to go for hiding. But, he refuses and said: "I wanted the family of Adhithya to die. Also, the girl who spurned me should die a brutal death. I want her life." He shouted aloud. During the festival time, Swamilingam joins and decides to revive the reputation of his hometown. He accepts the love of Vinisha and Adhithya's wholeheartedly, after an emotional convo about caste and religion.

However, during the festival, Adhithya and Naresh gets a call and they rush to their house in Anaimalai. There, they finds Aadhiya hanging from a ceiling fan, with evidences against Dhanush too been burnt. When going inside, Naresh finds out Yogesh and Visvajith's respective wives dead and becomes emotional. Adhithya finds his father, lying dead with a pool of blood, flowing like a river. He cried out aloud and heard the sounds of Kiran.

Naresh too rushed there with Adhithya asked him: "Hey Kiran. Kiran, who did this da? Who?"

"Mithilesh, Mithilesh da." He said, Mithilesh and Senthil's men entered into the house of Gopalakrishnan and hanged Aadhiya from a ceiling fan. Then, they gorily murdered his father and also, their sister-in-laws.



"Buddy. Don't leave them da. I doesn't have the chance to endure our friendship. My character ends here." He dies. Adhithya cried out emotionally. While, Naresh hits the wall, with his hands. Mithilesh instructed Senthil to carry out the murder of Adhithya's rest of family.

Sensing the trouble, Yogesh beats up the goons, only to be attacked by them. When they were about to kill him and Visvajith, Adhithya and Naresh emerges from the nearby Uppar river. With the help of his college friends, they ensured the safety of his cousin brothers. They however, alerts them about Vinisha, who had been chased by Senthil.

Adhithya and Naresh pleaded with them saying: "Brother. You don't remain here. Go from here. Sharan, take them da."

"Come brother." He takes them from the place in his car accompanied by Kathir and Abhin.

Adhithya takes down the henchman of Senthil in the temple. Hiding from an nearby idol, Vinisha shouts the name of Adhithya, who goes around for her. When finding her out, Senthil have already neared her with his sword.

He stabs her for three times and throws her from the upstairs of the idol. Adhithya shouted the name of Vinisha in tears. Holding her in his arms, Adhithya said: "Vinisha. Nothing will happen to you. Nothing will happen to you. I will kill them all."

"He stabbed me three times da. I won't survive. But, before dying, I wanted to know something from you. Is my love true?"

Adhithya cried aloud and said: "Vinisha. I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope and every dream I have ever had. Listen to me. Nothing will happen to you. I will save you." He takes her towards the roads of Anaimalai, accompanied by Naresh. When going half way itself, Adhithya sees the hands of Vinisha, gone down. Her hands pointed out Lord Shiva.

With tears, he looked Vinisha's eyes and cried out aloud. He asked her: "Vinu. I wasn't expecting you. I didn't think that we would end up together. The single most extraordinary thing I have ever done with my life is fall in love with you. I have never been seen so completely, loved so passionately and protected so fiercely. Look at me girl. Look at me." He closes her eyes and cried out emotionally.

Naresh consoled him. While, Senthil came along with his men to kill the duo. Taking an oath in front of Lord Shiva to finish them off all, Adhithya undergoes a violent transformation. After finishing off Senthil's men brutally, he chases Senthil with a sword towards the Azhiyar river bridge. As he tried to jump in the river, Naresh chops the legs of Senthil with a hammer angrily. While, Adhithya beheads Senthil, watched by many people around. Senthil's head falls into the river. Unable to control his pain and grief, Adhithya continued to stab Senthil's body for multiples of times, remembering the way Vinisha died.

PRESENT:

Adhithya and Naresh had tears in their eyes after telling about their past. While, Sharan, Kathirvel, Yogesh, Visvajith and Abhin looked at them emotionally. Now, Naresh said to a tearful Vishalini and Vikashini: "As we killed Senthil, there was a near caste riots in the city. However, a peace meeting was organized in the committee of Pollachi. As per their orders, we were ousted from entering into Pollachi for 3 years. I, Gopalakrishnan Uncle, Adhithya and my friends pre-planned the vengeance against Dhanush. So, we killed Mithilesh and then, Pranav."

Vishalini wiped off her tears and said: "I can understand your pain. I can understand your cause for vengeance. But, avenging will not end your pain. Think once and leave this path."

"We too hate revenge. But for implementing justice, we wish to follow the path of revenge. That's why I turned down your proposal Vishalini. My soul and your soul are forever tangled, however. I love you eternity." Vishalini feels happier on hearing this and embraces him.

Calling his uncle Giridharan, Adhithya arranges safety for Vishalini and Vikashini. While, Gopalakrishnan says: "Dhanush is coming to Anaimalai along with his father MP Gajendran after three long years." Naresh said to him: "For them, we have a surprise plan uncle."

When they came for attending a function, Adhithya connects a pen drive and exposed the atrocities of Dhanush to the public: "I am Adhithya sir. These are my friends Abhin, Sharan. Kathirvel. And this is my cousin: Yogesh and Visvajith. Right side is my elder brother Naresh. We are here to expose few influential and rich people. His name is Dhanush. His men are: Mithilesh, Pranav and Senthil. Senthil was a bar shop owner and member of ruling party. While, Pranav owned a bike showroom. Mithilesh is a post-graduate college student. With the help of these fellows, Dhanush spoiled the life of several women, including my foster sister Aadhiya. While Senthil sponsored women for these guys, Pranav video-clips the entire intimate video. Mithilesh would pretend to save them and later on, these guys would extract money from the victims. Adhithya and Naresh recalled an incident, where they had managed to retrieve the evidence against Dhanush. After the death of their family and Vinisha, they searched for evidences and learned it was burnt. However, they have kept a backup in their laptop and uploads it in a pendrive, waiting for a right time to expose it in public.

"Abinesh is a CBI officer. Definitely he won't leave this my son. If he exposed us, our ruling party is a puppet to the Central Government." MP Gajendran feared to which Dhanush said: "I have a plan to resolve this dad."

Dhanush contacts his men and instructed them to kidnap Vishalini and Vikashini from Giridharan's house, which he came to know from one of the sources of Anaimalai. Now, he calls Abinesh and said: "Abinesh. I kidnapped your younger sister Vishalini."

He stands up in fear. Dhanush threatens him to hand over the evidence and also to, kill Adhithya-Naresh duo. Abinesh now recalls his family: Actually, he have fabricated the story of Rayalaseema. Indeed, he hails from R.S.Puram of Coimbatore. His sister is Vishalini. Against the wish of his father, Abinesh joined CBI, due to which he was ousted. Vishalini too stopped to talk with him, after her father became ill. The reason for him to chase the guys when Vishalini was kidnapped is to save her. Abinesh seeks the help of Adhithya and Naresh, who reaches out the spot.

There, Dhanush's men beats up Adhithya, Naresh and their friends after tying up Gopalakrishnan. He boasts about their influence and power due to which, Central Government too can't touch them. When he said: "He will harm more and more women by assaulting them sexually." Angered, Abinesh motivates Adhithya to end Dhanush's life at once and for all.

An injured Adhithya recalls the death of his family members and Vinisha. With the help of Yogi and Visvajith, they ties up MP Gajendran and brings him and Dhanush to Anaimalai, after rescuing Vikashini and Vishalini.

In the same temple, Adhithya and Naresh fights with Dhanush and overpowers him, in front of his father, who is watching it in fear. Watched by an angry Gopalakrishnan, Abhin, Sharan, Vikashini, Yogesh, Visvajith and Kathirvel, the brothers take a sword and chases him. Gopalakrishnan kills Dhanush's men brutally supported by Yogesh, Visvajith and Adhithya's friends. While, Abinesh informed his senior officer by saying: "Sir. In a sudden clash evolved at Anaimalai, Minister Gajendran and his son Dhanush died sir. After some formalities are fulfilled, I will meet you personally sir."

Chasing Dhanush, Adhithya said: "Courage is like a muscle. We strengthen it with use. Respect to women means respect to future. If they get anger, you all won't survive in this world da. If you try to barge in their house and rape, we won't watch it da. We would behead you!"

Remembering the death of Vinisha, Adhithya stabbed Dhanush's abdomen. While Naresh beheads Dhanush with the help of a hammer. Seeing this, Gajendran suffers a heart stroke and dies there on the spot. His friends, Vishalini and Vikashini whistles and praised their act. However, Naresh asked them all to stop their praise and said, looking at the face of women: "Stop your praises. Stop this. Women can do everything. Our future, our choice, our fight. One girl with courage is a revolution. Rise of the women= Rise of the nation. Women are the real architects of society. So, never restrict a women. Give rights to women and bring them ahead. This is my kind request to the public, parents and the government."

Adhithya said: "To respect women is a gentleman's gesture. My kind request to our beloved women- Whatever problems and challenges follows, be strong and prove to this world that, you are dauntless."

People especially women, now celebrated the death of evil. Rains downpour in the city of Pollachi, after several years. At this point of time, Naresh sees Vikashini going towards the idol of Lord Shiva. Stopping her, he asked: "Why are you going there Vikashini?"

She turned to him and asked: "See there. A kid is trying to take the sword of Lord Shiva from the statute. I am going there to guide him. Is it wrong like blood donation?"

A wet Naresh laughed and said: "You are a beautiful miracle in my life di. I never restrict you to do it. Take the full freedom wings di. Go." She goes towards the kid. While, Adhithya and Vishalini embrace in the rain.
