Chicken Biryani At 2300 Hours

That evening, I was truly hungry to attack upon empty plates and eat them up like snacks as TUNTUN used to,a hilarious character in old hindi movies.

However,I couldn't express my hungarooo but,got the superb news that,pampa aunty(tenant at mamaji's house) has sent a tiffin full of Chicken Biryani.

My mouth started drooling inside.My brain started throwing clouds full of imagination

"Will I get the leg piece?",my tummy sent flash message to brain.

"Shall I've a trailer of that? How it smells? How it looks?,etc,etc.",kept thinking and fell asleep.

"Dinner time!", maima shouted.

"Do self-service for today,I'm feeling drowsy ",maima expressed.

"Yes! A lavish supper to me!",I wished my tummy & jumped out of the bed.

"Hey! Where's the LAZEEZ DUM MURG BIRYANI?",I asked my cousin Bro happily.

"Yeah! Come up, I've already served your LAZEEZ CHICKEN BIRYANI",he replied sarcastically.

I found him serving chapati too

At the Supper table...

"What's this?",surprisingly a bit high pitch volume.

The tiffin box was of hardly 35 gms i.e,8.4 tsp.

I was blessed with 2 tsp of the MURGI PRASAAD

Mamaji Returns

"How is the biryani?",pampa aunty asked my mamaji.

"What biryani? I'm having chapati and aloo dum now",mamaji replied.

"My tummy is half filled", I shouted too.

Pampa aunty doesn't leave a single chance of impressing my mamaji...at least,mamaji won't hike lease payment and water charge.

It was exact 2300 HRS,pampa aunty knocked our grill gate.

I saw her holding a plate full of chicken biryani.

Hurriedly I opened the gate and caught hold of the plate

"Do give it to your mamaji,okay!",she uttered her final dialogue of the whole day; with an impressive smile!
