Brown Beauty

Born in a small village in Africa was a little girl named Lily Rosewood. As a tribal girl, she certainly had dusky brown skin and russet eyes. Shining like a twilight amid sunshine. Her family was not rich but they were well set for three meals a day. One fine day her dad got a promotion and was sent to the US for residential purposes. 

Shifting was never an issue and not forgetting to mention, Lily was the happiest one as she was excited to explore the new state. Her genuine interest in studies got her an immediate admission to the global school. Of course, as all the little girls get excited about their new schools, Lily is no exception.

A month later the Rosewood family moved to start a new life. They were fascinated by the place and wanted to explore more of it. After three days, Lily had all her paperwork done for the school and was ready to mark the new beginning. 

"Yayyy today I'll go to an elite school," said Lily unable to hide her excitement. As she stepped on the school premises, she got weird stares from all angles, not only by students but teachers also... This shook the living shit outta her.

Clam as always, shy as usual and afraid for the first time, she entered the halls of the school. Yeah, she was a shy kid, and geez her classmates made it worse. I don't know what the hell is the problem with kids these days...

They all slyly teamed up and started bullying her with the lamest excuses. The way she walks, her dressing sense, and whatnot. All the things were getting out of hand and it was suffocating Lily.

C'mon girl you can do it said her inner spirits, encouraging her self-believe. She initially tried hard to fit in but then realized that all that shits weren't worth it. She poured herself into her studies and aced all her tests with excellence.

The students at the Woodland Academy changed their behavior when they saw Lily helping the queen bee's little sister Amy and a few of her friends who were being chased by a wild cougar who seemed to escape from the local zoo nearby.

The students saw the selfless behavior of Lily toward saving the little ones and came to regret about their low-key attitude towards a free-spirited mind. They apologized for their earlier actions and became gentle towards her.

They got to know that not only Lily was beautiful but also a true beauty from both inside and out. Her ending years at the Academy went grately and her life continues happily from then on.
