Eight years of companionship, experiencing so many ups and downs, love and hate kind of relationship, at last, turned out to be an unsuccessful marriage.

Both with mutual consent decided to live apart forever.

She handed over the bunch of house keys and returned wedding rings to each other to confirm the separation.

Both waiting anxiously to end the relation legally, by signing the divorce papers.

The judge had yet to come, therefore both were made to wait outside the courtroom.

Sitting on the bench together, they were trying to avoid eye contact but at the same time waiting for the conversation to be initiated by one of them.

And then, one by one they started.....

"Do take care of the house when I'm gone, you always leave the doors unlocked and windows open."

"I know better than you, how to take care of my house. You better take care of yourself, you always forget to switch off the T.V and go to sleep."

"Oh really! It was just because I knew you were awake and watching."

"Lame excuses, hmmm! And what about that milk spilling? You always get so engrossed in your T.V shows that you forget the milk kept on flame.!"

"It's just once in a while, I am quite careful about it. You say, how careless you are! Doctors have restricted you from taking sweets due to obesity and you never take care of your diet."

"It's none of your business. My body, my health, my life. I will do whatever I like. Who are you to give me advice?"

"Oh really! Who am I? So sorry, I forgot! Thanks for reminding."

"My pleasure! Well, if you really care about me and our house, then why are you leaving?"

What? I am leaving? You were the person who said to me to leave the house."

"So what? I said and you left? Don't you have any right on the house and by the way, from when did you become so obedient?"

"But you didn't stop me once!"

"If I had stopped you, you would have obeyed me?"

Yes! You know how obedient wife I am...ummmm... I mean was!"

"So, If I say now.... let's go back to our home...then will you...?"

Both looked into the eyes of each other with a broad smile. Hands in hands, both walked down to the new path...with a spark in their love life and relationship.
