Babu chapter :-4

Babu sits idly looking at butterflies.

Today he bunked school and plans to watch Hindi movies with his brothers and cousins. Today it’s full house as his cousins came for vacation. But no one is up yet.

Being the youngest son of one of the high tanked officer, he is the most adorable and cherished person in his family and household staffs.

His father’s official quarter is a bungalow with a sizeable garden.

Oblivious to the world, he is currently focusing solely on the butterflies, thinking how to catch it.

“Babu, come inside. Do your homework before watching movies”. Mother called him from inside.

Babu being obedient, came back inside.

He starts working on his homework. Mother enters the room with a glass of milk.

After completing his homework, he starts looking into the garden through the window.

He gets distracted by some noise inside his room.

To his utter amusement a mole and mouse are fighting for something.

Babu instantly becomes interested in this ongoing interesting fight.

“Babu bhaiya, Tutu Bhaiya, didi, please come. Something very interesting going on. Please come fast or else you will miss it.”

His elder siblings come rushing to his room. Babu stopped them at the door and pointed his finger to the two fighters.

By this time, both the fighters are already tired. Mouse is gradually getting heavy on mole.

All the four pair of eyes are focusing on them. After a long battle mouse wins and leaves an exhausted mole. Mouse quickly leaves his battle field and hides under the bed.

“What are you all doing there?” Mother asking while coming to his room.

“ Maa, this mole is injured after a long fight with mouse. You know he was very brave but mouse was powerful. So mole lost battle.”

Babu’s elder siblings retreat tactfully.

Mother watch them retreating and call for the maid servant to get the mole and leave it outside of house.
