Anamika

There was a stormy night. Anamika was standing at her balcony. All the people of her apartment had fallen asleep . Most probably time was 12:00 sometimes lightning was dazzling in the scenario . There was no movement in her body. But her mind was flying away in her past. Suddenly she could hear a whispering voice , voice of Santiniketan.

She was not in her control. See began to gossip intimately with Shantiniketan . Shantiniketan was appeared before her not as a place but as a familiar friend. She was quite surprised. Shantiniketan whispered to her ,"hello '! Anamika was overwhelmed. She had felt divine joy to get Shantiniketan as her friend. She wished to recall all her memories of Santiniketan .

In her memory she had gone nearly 55 years back to recall her life. At that time she was merely a girl. She was the eldest daughter of professor Narayan Chowdhury. The then she lived at 18 Ratanpally in Shantiniketan.

A life is going on smoothly and happily with her brothers and sisters and also with her intimate friends.

In her girlhood ,she was very simple and open hearted. She was very much dynamic and kind hearted. She loved the truth of life. She was lovable to all such as a teachers , friends and neighbors . She took her younger brother Bablu as her closed friend. She loved to share everything of her life with Bablu. Bablu was a handsome guy. The then he was a student of 6th standard.

Anamika ,nick name Anu was smart. She loved to raise her voice against all types of negativity of society. she was not only a good scholar but also a good orator and writer .ln short she represented herself as all rounder. She had interest in cooking, sewing , drawing, reciting, playing, travelling etc. She had enough courage to face any type of situation. After all see developed her personality in such a way that nobody could avoid her. Everyone wanted her friendship.
