Gradually Anamika was habituated in her day to day life. She and her friend Santiniketan went for walk in the morning and evening. Anu made friendship with some ladies of her society. Anu used to live in an independent house. But it was her first experience to live in an apartment. Sometimes she thought herself like a parrot , confined in a cage. She couldn"t talk loudly , couldn't laugh loudly. Always, she used to be conscious in her daily life. She couldn't enjoy sunshine in the open roof in winter. She was deprived of her own handmade kitchen garden. Even to keep any pet was also problematic there.

So, Anamika thought and thought how to utilise her time. One day she saw a tutorial beside her apartment. She went there and talked with them. They appointed her for English teaching. Anu

became very happy that day. The students of that tutorial became very much attached to Anu Anu was their favourite teacher. Nowadays, Anu became quite happy.

Then, she tried to communicate her friends. One lived in Pune, another lived in Navimumbai. One was there in Thane. One day, they fixed a programme to join each other in one of her friend's

flat. Perhaps, that day was the most remarkable day in Anu's life. Because, Anu couldn't imagine that one day she physically met her school mates after a long gap.

In this way, Anu adjusted her life there. In the mean time, she got a good news. She got her little grand baby i. e her younger daughter 's son. Anu spent most of her time with her grand son. That sweet, naughty boy didn't leave her for a moment. Anu became happy to do all his work. Her daughter said , "Mother, you forgot me, your daughter, getting your grand son. This was not fair. "Anu laughed and replied, "No, no I got him, only for you. "

Sometimes they used visit near by places like Nashik , Lonavala etc. Sometimes her daughter's mother in law, sister in law came to her house. Anu tried to forget her pain slowly , pain of leaving her own house which was in Odisha.

In spite of all this new engagements, Anu felt herself lonely. She used to sit in her rocking chair, looked in vacant eyes through the glass window.

One day Anamika was lightering beside a near by temple. She walked and walked. Suddenly she explored her self in a vast woods full of big trees. Evening was about to come there. Anu couldn't think what to do. She began to utter god's names. Suddenly she heard a friendly voice. She could recognise the voice and quite relaxed. Different type of strange sound created a ghostly atmosphere there. Unexpectedly she felt as if someone caught her right hand and tried to pull her. In semi darkness, nothing could be seen clearly. At last she could understand that that was a monkey. She became afraid. Then she got a stick. She gave the stick to the monkey. Then leaving her hand, the monkey hold the stick. Anu sighed heavily. But , she thanked  God because she was able to free herself from that naughty monkey .

Then, she opened her mobile torch and began to find out the return path in the woods. At last, she came to the locality. She entered to a snack shop for light refusement. There she ordered a coffee and sandwich. She tried to relax her mind by listening music from her mobile. In the mean time the snack was served. At the time of taking her snack, her mobile began to ring. Her husband called her. She replied, " I would return home within a few minutes ".

At last Anu came to reality. But ,

She did not forget the incident, happened that evening. She didn't want to talk about this with anybody else. So she tried to write about the incident. At last, she sent the article to a magazine. After two three months , one day her husband came to her with a magazine. He admired her for the writing and told her, " Good, you have done a great adventure. "

In this way time passed away. They lived there happily. Anu began to love her new apartment. Everything seemed to be settled smoothly. Nowadays , Anu was an active member in a woman association. They tried to publish a magazine. Mainly the magazine was about female problems and solution. So , Anu was quite busy now.

One day Anu went to her grandchild's school. The school was big enough and very nicely decorated. There she was treated cordially. She talked with the principal for a while. The principal praised her grand child, saying him intelligent , lovable and well behaved. There some magazines were distributed among the teachers.

Sometimes they arranged party for the promo of the magazine. In this way Anu tried to utilise her time fruitfully.

In her girlhood , Anu loved painting. She wanted to revive this skill. So at first she started to make sketches. Then she tried to draw beautiful landscapes. She also coloured her paintings carefully. One day, she arranged an exhibition of her creations. There she got order to do painting. She was very much astonished and pleased that day. She thought that it was only God's blessings, so her art was recognised publicly.

Now Anu was a familiar personality there. She was very much pleased with her life. Most of the ladies came to her her for consultation of various types of problems.

Anu was pleased very much by helping others. Her intimate friend Santiniketan felt proud of her success. Anu gave all the credit to her friend. , because only for him, she got her new life. When there was nobody with her, only as a true friend Santiniketan stood near her and he was able to bring her out of depression.

But, her friend told her, no everything could be possible only for her hard work. He wanted only to see her happy. In this way, they remained true friend of each other for the whole life. They created a real example of real friendship. Then, they went for sleep, saying good night to each other.
