After talking with him, Nirmal gave a proposal to Anu to visit Odisha, their native place. Hearing about it, Anu immediately gave her consent to visit. They decided to visit in festival time.

When they reached Bhubaneswar, Durga Puja was going on. After so many years, they saw goddess Durga in pendal. They became very much happy. Anu 's younger sister's husband had gone to receive them in the airport. They spent few days in their house.

Some lost days, some emotional memories became fresh in Anu's mind. They decided to meet with their relatives and their familiar people.

They went to their native place. They were very much pleased to visit their childhood places .Some people in Anu's in law's village recognised them. They behaved very cordially with them. After spending some days there, they went to Balasore where Anu's brother lived with his family. They were all happy to see them after so many years. We couldn't know how our time passed away only in gossiping, eating and traveling.

Then we went to Puri.In the way

we saw our old home. Luckily it stood in  its old gesture. So , easily we recognised our house. We saw it from a distance. But seeing its familiar appearance, tears rolled down.We.had nothing to do.But many sweet memories crowded in Anu's mind. For a while, she was disturbed. But , gradually she was able to overcome the situation.

At last, they reached at Puri. At first they went to Jagannath temple.Though , there was heavy crowd that day, they somehow reached near deities and could see them properly. Then , they took rest for a while, sitting on a temple veranda.Anu saw the delicate art of the temple pillar. Some monkeys were there in search of food. Anu lighted earthen lamp in Lakhsmi temple. Then they bought some dry Prasad for their relatives.

At last, they came to sea beach by a rickshaw. Whenever, Anu came here, she felt herself like a child. he loved to walk through tides. She climbed on camel's and horse's back. Evening was about to come. She was hypnotized to see the extra ordinary sunset there. The sea water looked reddish at that time. The sky ,sea all looked magical. Anu didn't want to leave the place. But time and tide wait for none. So, they had to return leaving all these serene scenario. Anu looked back, but in vain. It seemed to her as if tides came to see off her.
