Anamika

     Now Anamika was all alone, sitting in a couch, watching charming beauty of mounds through her window. Only her intimate friend Santiniketan was with her. Her elder daughter left. Her younger daughter was busy with her day to day official and house hold works. Anu's husband Nirmal was engaged himself with newly made friends. So again Anu was within herself, engaged herself to a little bit house hold responsibilities and nowadays she used to spend most of her time by enjoying Nature which was very closed to her and with her literary world. Santiniketan was always beside her in weal and woe as usual.

       From her childhood Anu loved to dream. Sometimes she discovered her amidst a lot and lot of books among which she had got mighty mind of old. At

that time,she thought one day she would become a great writer and she would go all over the world, attending meetings , giving speeches, joining many social organisations. Her another wish was to publish her self written books of various topics.

     In the mean while time passed away. Perhaps she didn't get opportunity to fulfill her dreams. But now, she became strong enough to execute her works. She thought that time was too short but she had to go a long distance. So she was busy with her pen and paper. Sometimes she was reading valuable books and loved to think a lot hour after hour before writing something. In this way, she almost confined herself in the little flat.

    Seeing this type of indifference from the worldly life, Normal was disturbed mentally. One evening he came to Anu , sat beside her and told affectionately whether she was happy here or not! Anu didn't want to utter a single word. She only looked her husband in vacant eyes. Perhaps Nirmal. could understand her mind. So he sat there. quietly. Only click , click sound of a wall clock indicated time and helped to break the solitude.
