Her husband, Nirmal was a diabetic. For this, he had to suffer from many types of internal or external diseases such as UTIs, rashes, the downfall of sodium and potassium levels, cholesterol problems, BP, eye problems, etc. Somehow, he was quite all right now. But only. God knows what would happen next moment!

Anamika loved to chat on WhatsApp or messenger. She always loved to write comments on Facebook. Sometimes she joined literary meetings through Google Meet. She used to visit the tribal exhibition, Toshali mela, cultural programs, socio-literary functions cultural programs, and others who literally function with her sister. In this way, she was spending her retirement life very happily.

Anamika's other passion was to prepare new dishes. She loved to see cooking videos on YouTube or Facebook. Her favorite passion was stitching. She always tried to do something new by using old unused dresses or clothes from her girlhood. She wanted to keep a parrot and a squirrel with her. But till now, she couldn't do that.

One day, Anamika and her invisible friend Shantiniketan were loitering on the roof of her building. She could see an injured parrot on her rooftop. Perhaps any cat had attacked it. Seeing this pathetic scene, Anamika was about to cry Then immediately her friend, Santiniketan told her, "don't worry, let me see."He went to the parrot and brought it. Then Anamika gave him Dettol and cotton. He cleaned the wound very carefully. At last, he touched the wound with Betadine ointment. Anamika gave it guava to eat. She also kept water and other favourite food of the parrot near it. After two to three days, the parrot seemed to be quite fresh

.At last, Anamika couldn't see it anymore that I don't seem to be great friends. It flew away somewhere. But, at this time, she recalled her childhood memory,  relating to a parrot. When she was a student in class 7. She took the cage and hung it on a branch of a mango tree in her garden. She became very happy seeing the jolly mood of the parrot. After sometimes she saw that another parrot came and sat on the rod of the cage. Anu thought if she would open the cage door, then this outsider would enter the cage. Both the parrots would live together happily. Thinking this Anu opened the door and then the inside parrot flew away immediately with the other one. Her husband, Nirmal didn't support her in this case. He didn't want to keep pets in a prison. But when Anu had been seeing beautiful, talkative parrots anywhere, she wanted to keep one. But till now this thing was not done.

Anamika and her husband both became elder and elder. There was nobody to help them. Their children were living with their families in their job places. Sometimes they used to come to visit their parents. They told us to go and live with them. But Nirmal didn't want to leave his own home. He searched a lot for a good person who would live with us to do our household work. But till now, no one was found. We didn't know how would we survive without anybody's help. Anamika always prayed to God for good health till death. But we couldn't see our future. But we had to face whatever would come in our life. So following this principle of life, Anamika prepared herself. She kept faith in God. She had enough courage to face any problems. In this way, Anamika became strong-minded facing many peculiar events in her life. Her husband, Nirmal's life was full of struggles He was a self-made man.
