We returned home in the early morning. My father then got up from the bed. He scolded both of us a lot. From that day till now, I went with my brother anywhere. I loved my younger brother Bablu a lot. He was very talented. One day, he was wandering with her friends. Seeing some tourists there, an idea came to their mind. They kept an image of Tagore on the Chhatimtala campus. Then they threw some coins inside the campus. The tourists thought that here it was the system to do so. Therefore they also threw coins there. When tourists left the place, my brother Bablu and his friends went there and collected all the coins. After that, they went to a nearby restaurant and had taken very nice breakfast. Bablu told me all these things. They got fun making the tourists fool. Gossiping like this, that evening was also spent happily.

In this way talking with Santiniketan every evening became part and parcel of my daily life. I used to wait for this moment. Most of the time, Shantiniketan wanted to listen to something from me. He was the direct viewer of nearly all the events that happened there ie in Shantiniketan.

After my marriage, when I was staying in Bhubaneswar, I was shocked very to hear bad news while sitting lonely in my house. Actually that day I did not know why I was very upset. I guessed that something wrong was going to happen. Practically I had to face it. My dear brother Bablu was seriously ill. At that time he was admitted to Calcutta tropical hospital. He was suffering from blood cancer. The bad news of that evening was my brother was no more. After getting the shocking news, immediately we arranged to go to Calcutta. Unfortunately, we didn't get any chance to see him alive. That was the very pathetic incident of my life. Till now I couldn't forget this. Hearing this pathetic story of my life, tears rolled down Shantiniketan's eyes. He couldn't understand how to solace me. I know that time is the best healer of every wound. So automatically I could able to control myself and began to talk normally. Seeing me in the right condition, Santiniketan also felt relieved. That day, I had no mood to talk more, so I said good night to him.

The next evening again we met each other and began our conversation as usual. This time my bosom friend wanted to know about my activities with my friends when we were at the school level.

• Taking a cup of tea in my hand, I started. One day, some friends gathered together and decided to perform a drama in our colony. Then our Puja vacation was going on. So, we all were in a relaxed mood. At last, we decided to perform a detective drama. The name of our play was Nishante. We prepared the stage for the play in our field. The decoration was also done. We did rehearsal day by day. We arranged audiences by giving chocolates to little children. Finally, that day came. We were ready with our character-wise get-up. Everything thing was ready. Starting was very nice, but problem was that in one scene I was performing. my role with one of my friends. Unfortunately, she forgot her dialogue and told dialogue of mine.We began to quarrel. The prompter wisely closed the play by switching off the stage light. That was the first and last drama of my life. Hearing all this, Santiniketan burst into laughter. That evening we spent our time happily. Again, we parted with each other by doing promise to meet tomorrow evening. Again we came to our regular place. This time my dear friend wanted to know something about my mother.

My mother was a pious woman. She loved everyone. She helped others. She had mixing nature. She was affectionate very. Always, she was busy doing her household work. She was very simple. But sometimes when we didn't abide by her, she became angry with us. But it didn't last long. She was very fond of pictures. When she got a chance, she was ready to go to the film hall. In this way, we became grown-ups getting sweet touches from our loving parents. Today my parents are no more. I had no option but to live with their memories. In this way, that evening was ended. We were ready to part. Sometimes my Shantiniketan became totally silent. As if he looked very tired. Then I also became silent. In this way, time passed away. Our bond of friendship was very strong. When we spent silent moments, then also we could understand minds each other.   ... One day my husband asked me how I spent my evening. I replied I spent my time gossiping with my best friend. He was very excited to see my best friend. He told me tomorrow evening he would try to reach home quickly. He was eager to take part in our meeting. I replied that it was not possible because he couldn't see him. He asked me to tell him the proper reason. I told my friend that was within me. He was like a shadow. Nobody could see him. Someone could feel his presence. My husband Nirmal said that that was very surprising. Perhaps he thought me mad. But whatever it might be, we remained friends forever. Till today, no third element got a chance to enter into our friendship.

Again we met as usual. Today's topic was my school teachers. Our teachers were very friendly to us. They loved us very much. We had enough freedom to share everything with them. They were very much cooperative. I was fortunate enough to get so many good teachers in my life. We gained various types of knowledge from them. I could never forget the love and affection of my teachers. My school life was very much enjoyable. Always we were happy with our studies and also with our teachers. On April fool's day, we had enough courage to make our teacher be April fooled. I might remember an incident. That day was the first of April. when our Math teacher entered into the classroom, a student switched on the ceiling fan. We kept chalk dust on it. When the fan was moving, all the chalk powder was fallen on his head. Everyone began to laugh.
