An Optimistic Outlook

You have always made the best of the worst conditions. Where others saw rain, you saw nourishment. Where others saw clouds, you saw shady paradise. You always told me that my glass was half full, and since then I have never seen my glass half empty. I would tell you of my troubles and worries and you would show me how to look at them as opportunities and blessings. You took boredom, and you turned it into contentment. You took sadness, and you turned it into growth. I will always be grateful to you and the way that you have helped me to shift my perspective. My once foggy lenses are now clear, and I have you to thank for it.
