A Walk With Him

I met my soulmate on a matrimony site and he was the one who initiated the communication. So when I accepted his request, he immediately called and I was a bit shocked and shy too. Despite that, I picked up the call and he started as, I am Santhosh with this qualification. 

To his introduction, I complimented my formal introduction. Then he took the lead and engaged in the maximum conversation and I was a quiet listener. Finally, after forty-five minutes of interaction, my quietness compelled him to question me, 'Do you have any questions?' And I was so mesmerized by his detailed and clear introduction that I just wanted to keep listening to him.

I got impressed by his first interaction. He asked me my whatsapp number and we shared our photos. He sent me simple photos, a pretty good one. I too sent him simple photos. Then for the next few days, he was quiet. At that time, I started asking him questions to which he didn't respond. One fine day, I shared a joke to which he responded quite well and then our conversation began. Still, he was not a regular caller. One fine evening, he made an audio call. That interaction was lovely. Both of us were interested to know each other. We kept a slow pace. I could not comprehend what was there in his heart and I said, 'I do not know whether I meet your level of understanding but I liked that you shared both your good and bad aspects.' 

He was much impressed by these words and messaged the next day. I took a little time and messaged him back. The next day by eight in the morning he gave me a video call. Seeing him for the first time, I was shocked at his beauty. He was just magnificent. Till then it was just talking, but after seeing him, my heart started to feel for him. His words, his voice, his actions everything started to hold value in my life. All of a sudden life took a different spin giving me great happiness.

 He finally said he wanted to marry me as soon as possible. In one aspect, it was good, but from another point of view, a fear caught hold of me.

  I asked him to give me some time to settle my brother's marriage. He got very angry and said we had not spent much time together, so discussing marriage was too early.
