A Twist In The "Tail"

I shall now recount to you the factual story of "Like-Minded Persons" of today's world. Before that let me tell you that interestingly we have a Day reserved for Like-Minded persons just like Father's day & Mother's day !

What i am going to say now, is more of a tribute followed by a punch or a cruel twist in the tale !

Like-Minded persons are so defined/titled because they possess the following traits and eccentricities : they pat each other's back and sing each other's praises ; they echo each other's views and discuss each other's problems ; they wear each other's shoes and tie each other's laces ; they laugh at each other's jokes/pranks and shed tears at each other's miseries or sorrows ; they go for a morning jog together and go for an evening swim together !

So far so good ; But here comes a twist in the tail ; here comes an exception to the exceptional like-mindedness of like-minded people which is that : 

THEY DO NOT AT ANY COST DROWN OR SINK TOGETHER

They stay away from doing that because each one is of the view that " I am superior, precious and more important than thou " !
