Every human carries one quiet corner in his heart —
an island no map can show.

This island is not in the ocean.
It is the ocean —
made of the waves of everyday struggle,
the storms we hide,
the tides we fight,
and the small shells of hope we still pick up.

Ravi lived on his island just like everyone else —
alone, yet surrounded by a thousand voices.
Each day he rebuilt himself
from pieces broken by the world,
and each night he folded his fears
like letters he never mailed.

But one evening, sitting with silence,
he understood a simple truth:
We do not escape our island —
we learn to grow a lily on the hot sand of the desert.

And from that day,
his struggle did not end,
but it became a shore
he could finally walk upon
without sinking.

And from that day,
his island did not vanish,
but its sands grew softer,
as if the lily’s roots
had taught the desert
how to hold him gently.
