A Man With 4 Spouses in USA

It sounds funny and illegal to have 4 wife's but the situation made me to marry 4 young women to give them a new life. I was 30 at that time when i visited India after 6 years of my studies for a doctorate degree in computer science. I was landed in Delhi Airport instead of Hyderabad, my native city due to the bad weather conditions in the south states of India. I never visited Delhi in my past so I had a quick tour the same day as weather conditions would remain the same for 2 days as per the weather forecast and flight was scheduled after 2 days. After traveling the whole Delhi I strongly felt to go to my home city and I cant wait anymore so I opted to go for train journey as an express train was available the same evening. Sadly all the first class seats were reserved so I had to opt for a second class sleeper ticket. 

I got a seat in a compartment with 6 other people. they were 4 young women aged 21-23 and their guardian a 40 plus tall man in my compartment. The young women were very shy and the guardian was very strict. We sat calm for next 2 hours, and I was listening music on the go. I had a strange habit to see the unknown women foot to unidentify their marital status with a ring worn by them on the foot fingers, If sounds fishy but I do it with strangers. I have observed the girls foots with a decent look, and I was shocked, they were no marital rings or whatever you call it but there were lot of scars and red beaten marks seemed like they were given 3rd degree burns on the foot. All of a sudden the guardian man got a call and he spoke every thing in Hindi and I pretended like a south guy to him who don't understand Hindi. This made him to speak open what he was about to do with the 4 girls. After listening to him carefully while pretending to be as a south guy with poor knowledge in Hindi, I concluded that he was actually a worker from a girls trafficking network and was about to traffic this 4 girls to some area nearby Hyderabad city. I had caught him red handed at that point and asked him to come with me to police station. At that point of time the train was 4 hours away from the Delhi and we were in some village nearby area. He suddenly showed me gun which was unexpected and asked me to keep quite and stay away from his work. He planned to board another train in the next station and warned me with his gun that he will shoot me if I inform to police or any passengers in the train. I tried to convince him and tried all the ways. Finally I felt pity for those young girls and want to save them at any cost. I requested him to leave the girls, And I will pay him his demanded amount. He said to hand over a half a million rupees (5 lakhs) to release them and go away from there. I gave away my gold chain worth 2 lakhs, my gold rings worth 1 lakh and my gifts bag with had 2 brand new iphone's with bill, some normal ear jewellery set. He took all the things in his bag, pulled the emergency chain and escaped from there. I had paid the fine for that chain pulling and took the four women along me to Hyderabad police station.

 I had narrated everything to the police and filed an FIR. The 4 girls were uneducated, spoke only rural slang Hindi. They said the Trafficking man paid their family some amount they don't know the actual figures and all of the four girls were from different rural villages. They were kept hungry and beaten badly to keep quiet in this journey in public. Police has done the basic formalities and asked me to take the women to the nearby govt girls orphan age. I took them in my car to the place which had very poor living conditions and there were no vacant beds. Then I went to a good private girls hostel but even there they didn't admitted as they don't have any ID cards. I tried to take help of my sister friends circle to keep them in their homes but nothing was helpful so I had to take them to my home. I narrated this incident to my family and somehow convinced them to keep them in our house. Then We spend a month peacefully while the police were in search for their families. But I felt they have already sold away by their family and how can we expect them to see them normally. I finally decided to settle the 4 girls in good hands. The four girls named Arpitha, Mahima, Neha and Payal, all were fare tone average looking girls aged 21 and so. I had to go back to states after a month so I tried to get them good brides. After long search no one of my friends circle found any good people ready to marry an orphan girl. 

I had a good friends circle in states so I decided to take them along me to states on dependent visas and settle their life in states. I took them to states and I kept them in my house which was very big and had enough space for a big family. The girls know the basic cooking and all other homely work. The cook very delicious north Indian food every day while I got busy getting back to my work with a long vacation pending works. I didn't got any time to spend at home for 2 weeks, not even weekends. After wrapping all the pending works I narrated the incident to all my friends circle and asked them to find brides for them. After lot of interviews no bride has liked any girl as they were uneducated and couldn't speak English even a word. To solve this problem, I enrolled the girls to the nearby school to get the basic education. Again I got busy with the work and didn't find time to solve their problem. The girls had started getting feelings for me after 2 months of stay with me although I maintained distance from them, they had got attracted to me and were very hospitable to me. They were competing among themselves to serve me delicious food. It was all a friendly environment till a random evening all the girls started fighting each other that all of them wanted to propose me. It was expected as they never been in love with any other men at that young age of 21. I kept them far away from me and I stayed at my friends place for a month while i supplied them the basic necessities regularly everyday. I lied to the girls that I had to work from his home as his team. Financially, I had good income to support all this expenses as I was a senior product manager in my company. Days passed on and search was still on. 

Finally I found one good person, a software developer for my company who liked Arpitha and wanted to marry her. To my surprise Arpitha rejected him. I was little anger on her and shouted on her as what made her to reject him. He cried and hugged me tightly. She proposed me and want to marry me. I pulled her away and was about to leave my home and to my surprise Payal hugged me from my back and proposed me to marry her. I shouted on her and moved into my room to take some of my left over belongings with an upset mood. All of a sudden Mahima and Neha entered the room and expressed their feelings for me and both want to marry me. I asked all of them to gather in dining table to have a conversation about this. I said I can only marry one of them and will try my best to find husbands for the remaining three. They all started fighting, pulling each others hair to come to a decision on whom to marry me. I somehow stopped them. They all started crying like children. To stop them from fighting I said in a flow without thinking that I will marry all ot them if I failed to find a good husband for all the four girls. Mahima, said we all can marry you but we cant imagine any other man other than you. We wont fight if you will marry all of us. I got a quick smile and shouted "have you gone mad, Mahima?" All of them Replied together "Yes we are mad at you". 

I was annoyed with their behavior towards me and seek my friend for help. After narrating all this the nth time to my friend... He laughed on me and replied "go marry them, who can take care of them better than you?". I asked him is it legal to marry 4 girls? It seems to be like a crime. Then he explained me like a family expert that I'm going on write way. He said there are may of his friends having multiple spouses from diverse backgrounds and diverse religions, although it is illegal according to the states but there are families in living relations with multiple spouses living a happy life. 

He even gave me an example of Lord Shree Krishna married the 16000 wives of a demon to save them and remove a bad name from them as demons wife. Lord Krishna had got no other option to save the girls captured by the devil, so to remove the bad views on the girls, He married all of them to give them the Identity of Krishna's Wife instead of a widower of a devil. You are in the same situation, no one will marry the girls who were a victim of trafficking here in states. You should marry them and give them a new life", he added lastly.

After lot of the suggestions from my friends, I married all the four girls arpitha, payal, mahima and neha at a church but I legally didn;t claim anyone of them as my spouse as it would be injustice to the remaining girls. I stayed single officially on paper but married to 4 girls. We lived happily four 2 years. I had broken the record of my great grand father who had 2 wifes. Now after an year all my four wife's are blessed by 1 child each in the same month. That sounded funny but it happens. At the end we lived happily in the USA and raised my children well in the mean time.
