A Celebrity For A Day- Part 1

Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a celebrity? Would you trade one day of your life to live the life of a celebrity? Well, it isn't as amusing as it seems to be on TV. Living the life of a celebrity comes with its own hardships. Still don't believe me? I traded a day of my life to live the day as a celebrity, and it was the worst experience of my life.

It all begun when I was sick and tired of my life. I was tired of the monotonous routines and the heartbreaks! I was tired of my life!!! I left home in search of a purpose. Living within the four walls of my home didn't bring the slightest bit of comfort. I was without a purpose, and I had a miserable life. I always felt like a burden to my parents; ever dependent and never doing my own chores. I registered for the competition. A free competition that would fulfill all your dreams! 

As a child, I have always been fascinated with acting and pursuing it as my career. I have always wanted my name to be on the top charts. So I set off to take part in this competition. All I had to do was defeat a Card Master at card tricks, and that is exactly what I did. I have also been interested in cards ever since I was a kid and I would keep learning new card tricks every week! This is what I was destined to win! 

I defeated the Card Master and won the contest. Now it was time for my wish. 

I yelled in excitement, "I wish to be a popular celebrity for the rest of my life." 

The contest creator then said to me, "My child, you cannot wish for anything that's permanent. However, I can make you the most popular actress in the world for a day."

I nodded my head and accepted the offer. I soon fell into a deep trance.
