Sherlock came out of the bullock cart with Chacha Chaudhary and Rocket. They teamed up together to solve a case in which a sixteen year who was kidnapped on her birthday was found in the old castle by the city. She revealed that the kidnappers left her to die after they got the ransom from her parents.

"So were you kept in the castle?" Sherlock asked. "No, they brought me here after they got the money," she replied.

"Do you remember anything on your way from that place to here?" Chacha Chaudhary asked her. "No she made me smell some chemical which passed me out meanwhile they brought me here." the girl said.

The girl couldn't answer more as the fear of the traumatic event haunted her as she tried to recount the incidents, so the family suggested them to come later when she felt well. The next day, they were called.

"These are some of the rough sketches she drew." her father explained. "She said the place where she was kept looked similar, except she felt that her location was constantly changed."

The photos consisted of nothing but some rooms with a couple of chairs. She revealed the once when she felt hungry, one of the three kidnappers asked the other to bring mangoes for her. "Ask Chandu to add it to my account. You'll remember the taste of these mangoes," she recounted the kidnapper said. "People came to Kanpur to but them in tonnes, you're getting it for free. Though you're parents paying for it......a large amount."

"What a fool, they were," Sherlock said. "All we need to do now is find a fruit seller named Chandu in Kanpur."

"Yes, the kidnapper but indeed fool but you are wrong." Chacha Chaudhary corrected him. "This isn't mango season. How can people buy tonnes of mangoes when the fruit is not even in season. They are trying to mislead us."

Chacha Chaudhary advised her to think deeper. Later she remembered that one day when she feeling very thirsty, she screamed but no one came and when they came they treated her with a bottle of juice. She then heard them arguing among themselves as one of them wasn't happy about it since he thought they were treating her too well for a kidnapping, "But only because of her father's first installment of ransom, I got married today." a kidnapper said.

"What day was it when you heard them saying so," Sherlock asked.

"I don't remember much, maybe three days after I was kidnapped," she replied.

"Do you remember anything else?" Chacha asked.

"Yes they had an accent, like someone from Haryana," she recalled.

Now they had enough clues to know that the kidnappers were from Haryana and one of them got married nearly three days after they kidnapped the girl. They didn't seem, professional criminals, as they were not much harsh on the girl but still knew how to mislead the investigation with a false story about mangoes. Chacha realized that the girl was given some medicine that made her pass out, so the kidnapper or one of them must have the access to such medicines.

The search started.

The girl did remember them discussing a plan about changing her place as the upcoming mela would create heavy police checkings in the city. Chacha Chaudhary knew the city in which a mela is organized for years in the month in which the girl got kidnapped. As the area of investigation narrowed, the search became easier.

The city was searched and finally, they were able to track a chemist whose friend recently got married and paid for his father-in-law's loans.

In this way, Chacha's presence of mind and Sherlock's wit solved the case.
