World Of Words

Humdrum, dull beat in the mind

The repetitive cycle of life, nothing but a grind

Snail-like, withdraw into my shell

This boredom reigns over, the cat, who can tie the bell. 

In the crevices of the mind, I did vacuum

Emptiness remains, with it a pall of gloom.

Seeds remain dormant, it's not time for the oasis to bloom. 

Forbearance is required to tide over the doom. 

Words and me in the world of our own

Searching the pages of the lexicon for expressions unknown

Then I let my legs do the workout

Cycling a distance, sweated it out.

The mood did change, the mind didn't derange

The order did get restored with things I could arrange. 

Arraign I didn't of my situation

With words, I bettered the equation.
