World Is A Stage

World Is A Stage

Not a single 'welcome' banner insight,

Yet it had the warmth and light.

As I entered heaven's gate,

I knew I was neither early nor late.

I wanted to jump and dance,

But couldn't lose my only chance.

Every face was glimmering,

For The Throne was shimmering.

My superego came into action.

I fought my way without any fraction.

I had the rage burning in my eyes;

Looking for answering to all the lies.

The Throne's aura was so bright;

That one might turn 'cause of fright.

But I did look up and did try,

Only to utter, "Why?"

"Do you know a cook?"

I froze with a surprised look,

For The Throne had just boomed!

The world wasn't yet doomed!

"Yes," I replied back.

"Then why does food lack?

Why can't people dine,

In a day, for 3 times?"

"Here is another shocker,

Among you lived doctor.

Yet, people have to cry,

'cause their loved ones die.

"Next count in some fools,

who

think they are cool.

What they need is a creature;

Whom you call a 'teacher'.

"Everyone downstairs is an actor,

But it is not a genuine factor,

To enjoy Hollywood's treasure.

Yet work's everyone's pressure.

"With changing new trends,

you do the same with friends.

You forgot and did mold,

The phrase - "Old is Gold".

"Everyone has a free will to be,

Yet you all blame me.

Only a few seek me out.

Rest all just sit back and doubt.

"If I snap back the world,

Many things will get swirled.

You will ask for 'free will' ;

You yourself did kill."

I understood every word,

And felt like a bird;

Who just got freed,

From its cage called 'greed'.

If only the crowd realized -

Humanity is surmised,

As the purpose of living.

There will be just sharing and giving.

If everyone'll just pursue,

The peaceful virtue.

They'll delight on the world stage,

And will be freed from its evil cage.
