Winter Nights
Winter Nights
A chill through spines in winter nights,
An icy wind that blows
Through the silence of the huts and woods,
Through the doors and windows.
And as the whispers fill the ears,
Innocence turns fragile,
Someone, someone crawls in darkness,
Hiding with a smile.
No one, no one, can survive,
The curse untold, unheard,
A thousand lives won't suffice
The Monster's thirst of Blood.
A cold wind carries the smell of blood,
Through the world with no lights,
The silence of the huts and woods
In the darkest of the nights.
