White Lie
White Lie
Sitting with many dreams in her eyes
The hope of becoming a twinkling star
Expectations of soaring high in the blue sky
Her vision for the celestial height
And fantasy at pinnacle overnight
Gasping in the unusual flight
And suddenly realized the strange fright
What would she do if reached her destination
And thrown back after the culmination
The futility of medals, trophies and all achievements
Taught her the lesson to remain confined
Better to be a bug than to be a butterfly
Rested in peace trusting this white lie
