He likes to get inside our head, whisper in our ear

Tries to tempt us slowly, he will not disappear

Gotta try to fight the things he's trying to convey

There's just no way around it, there is no other way

He'll blind you with temptation, leave you with self doubt

Better follow carefully he's hard to figure out

He stands for all that's evil and everything untrue

Tries to make you do the things he'd like for you to do

Wants to see you suffer, it gives him such a thrill

Do anything he needs to do to steal your very will

He been around for quite a while, since falling out of grace

He used to be an angel and

God has seen his face

An enemy to all mankind, opposed to all that's good

He'd like to take you over 

I pray that's understood 

Best to not believe him, don't listen to a word

He's leader of the underworld in case you haven't heard

Goes by several different names, you've heard them said before

He's no one to take lightly

No one to ignore

He strikes when least expected, twice as much at night

Convinces you what's right is wrong, he'll put up quite a fight

He has his tricks to fool us, plenty up his sleeve

He turned into a serpent, and showed himself to Eve

Careful of this whisper he wants to gain control

Do anything he has to do to steal your very soul

Desires to take you prisoner, best to stay aware

There are those among you who just don't seem to care
