The broken

I’d prefer to sit with the broken than have a seat with the great

Compassion, like empathy are traits you can't negate

If you wanna get to know someone try standing in their shoes

You’ll gain a new perspective,

enough to change your views

Spread some joy with everyone, 

that's what we all need to do

In the very scheme of things, 

we all must see it through 

Show a little kindness, it goes a long long way

Do the things that you know how to help them find their way

You may sit with Kings and Queens, don't let it make you sweat

There are more important things,

this do not forget

They sleep

They eat

They think

They bleed, in that way we're the same

Make the right decision, do this in God's name

All men were created equal, of this I have no doubt

Love thy neighbor as thy self that's what it's all about
