Along the way

Life and time are the greatest of all teachers

We grasp a thing or two along the way

The edification lies in truth with all it’s candid features

We learn a little more each passing day

You'll gain from life some knowledge, not written in a book

The passing years will help you understand

Time will just remind you how very long it took

Things don't always go the way they're planned

Trial goes with error when you’re facing something new

Everyone is bound to make mistakes 

Life can be unkind, cut you like a knife

Learn from this no matter what it takes

Someday you’ll understand this

Right now you're still unsure 

So much of life you still have yet to live

Remember this was told to me

along long time ago

Take but don’t forget to also give

The wisdom that you’ll finally grasp is all part of your schooling

Don’t let life's education pass you by

Existence shoots its darts at you, believe me I’m not fooling
