THE VOICES UNHEARD

At times when my eyes are wet,

            When it’s about time for sun set,

Those bright twinkling mates turn up,

     Lifting my eyes with their soothing aurora up....

With their voice so serene,

            They ask the reason for my worries...

Sniffle a bit my nose does,

            As I tell them about all my woes...

They listen to them all,

            Without questioning staring at me,

Just a smile on their face falls,

As they tell me about hardships in the life of the sea...

Hours passed by,

            Just talking to each other,

Then an abrupt swish flicked in the sky,

  A hesitant “Hi” the green leafy mates uttered...

Thereupon another tranquil light,

            Kissed my face,

The love was familiar, I felt,

The arrival it was of the moon,

            I realised without any second guess.

It was a moment of life,

            To see the three night stars together,

Their voices as sweet as fife,

 Altogether as they spoke about the beauty of heather...

I wondered hard’

         then I asked,

“Why don’t you talk to people?’,

The smiles on their lips faded,

  As an intense look on their face settled,

“We are always here, though a bit introverted

  Earthlings, don’t have the time to look at us ,

We are the voices unheard,

            Only heard by those who try to hear us.’
