Truthful lie

There the shore lay,

Or like the rest did it lie?

Little squirrels crawled up my arms,

Or empty was just the barns?

Doves a thousand kissed tears across my face,

Or unfading, did the streams just leave the trace?

My fingers slipped through the sand,

Or did my feet depart from the land?

My heart roared all cries of happiness they can define,

Or did the seconds just forget to chime?
