Love that bloomed
Between me and him
Seemed forbidden
Yet, it was intense.
I was lying in bed
Submitting to the heat
Of my body.
My eyes flickered
Like a candle.
Those fuming flames rising inside me,
Made me growl
Like a dog in pain.
After a few seconds,
I felt his touch.
I was shocked,
Not just by his touch
But also by his unholy presence.
Damn! It was 12 am.
I did not know him
I never saw him.
Forget this!
He entered my room
Without knocking.
How insane that could be!
I was not in a state to comprehend
But I was known, he was good.
I was fascinated with his presence
As he was usually not present.
I could just feel his touch
But I never saw him,
Till I recovered from viral.
I was fond of the connection
That we shared,
Even if he was not physically present
,
He cared like no one else.
Whenever I felt uneasy,
He would just titillate me
And ask me to rest.
I felt as if he was trying to safeguard me from some harm
But until his last goodbye,
I never saw him.
He was there for me
When the world stopped caring about me.
Ah! Those lovely days would never return again.
Alas! I rose in love with a man
Who had died 4 years ago?
The day when he kissed me
And woke me up to say goodbye,
I would never forget.
We knew,
Our love was eternal
But our worlds were different
And we could never become a part of each other's world
As it would be against the rules of nature.
I was shattered to hear
That he died in a car accident 4 years ago.
His only purpose to remain by my side
Was to make me believe in the strength of love again.
He asked me to love again...
Then, I was left to be with myself again.
