Buddy, Let's Go!

Oops, I forgot the scarf today

Because the night was too heavy. 

Two lots of friends,

Yet understanding.

One, who got me a scarf in the morning

While I was waiting for Jesus to reveal himself,

Another one who did not disturb me 

When I was doing Bible studies late at night.

Here, I write a letter of gratitude

To pay tribute to the most beautiful friends of my life. 

I have others who have been my support throughout,

At every nook and corner,

through thick and thin and never let me lose. 

There is another one 

Who is always suggesting I to read & learn Bangla,

So that I don't get lost in just Brit Eng fiction. 

Hahaha...He is quite creative though.

There are many who congratulate me on my success,

But there are fewer who have seen me broken and still fighting and winning the battle again. 

They know what I am doing,

They understand my cautions & whistles.

Although, they surpass it.

Yet, they return,

For the bond of friendship is true

And graced by Lord's mercy.

In the name of the Lord,

let all my friends persist

And win the game called life. 

Hey buddy, let's go and get free

From all that comes not from within. 

Ye shall receive the grace 

And receive fruits for all your deeds. 

I shall be your crusader,

Come with me to win the spiritual warfare.
