The Girl Without Face

The Girl Without Face

I met a girl in the backyard of my sweet home,

She smiled and said, you can call me Miss Rose.

She had long black beautiful hair,

And her eyes gave me a bossy glare.

The rest of her face looked all blurry,

I don’t know, but I didn’t worry.

Her voice was sweet, peaceful but also melancholy,

It soothed me, at the same time it felt a little gloomy.

I asked her to come inside, as it suddenly started raining,

She dried herself, I asked if anything she will be needing.

I made her some tea, to give her some warmth,

She took it while outside started thunderstorm.

I was just looking out of the window, it was all dark n cold,

When I looked at the table, she wasn’t there anymore.

All of a sudden, I felt her arm over my shoulder,

And that cranky laugh, I never felt much colder.

I stopped breathing and slowly turned back to the window,

I felt my soul pulled out as she wasn’t there either. oh shit no.

I heard the taps of big feet nails all over the floor,

I tried to run, but she was there also at my nose.

Then I heard the sound of the scissors clicking each other,

It became loud and clear in every second. save me, mother.

First, my both arms fell off on the floor,

Then I felt my stomach singing chores.

I was scared as a lamb at the butcherer’s place,

But I can’t do anything only except to say please.

Suddenly the lights came, clouds were also clear and calm,

But. wait there was blood all over my place and my arms…

I found myself hanging by the big chandelier in my hall,

It was all getting blurry but I can’t see her there at all.

There I felt something scratching my skull,

She was there above me feasting with fun.

She said wait…, first, you should see my face,

Before you might die.

She turned my head upwards, there’s no face,

I didn’t even… cried.

She was still that beautiful girl I met at the beginning,

Now I see, it was a girl without a face who came to kill me.
