Let's Hear It Together

Let's Hear It Together

I think I can hear it,

The sound of two people disdaining each other,

The sound of no one being there for one another,

The sound of no one contemplating each other,

The sound of eerie loneliness engulfs the essence of every mortal breather.

Believe me, I can hear it,

The sound of everyone scorning for each other,

The sound of the wind howling in the silent alley,

The sound of the pain we all whine through every day,

The sound of being completely alone,

The sound of quietly suffocating in the alone.

I think I recognize this sound very well,

The sound of being left behind,

The sound of not being able to cry,

The sound of feel like you be lost in boundless infinity,

The sound of wanting someone who is willing to accept your blemished side,

The sound of wishing for a fated one who could be with you until the tide.

But I think the sound of silence can't be heard,

Just like the soft hind wings of a bird.

The sound of silence may seem surreal

but this sound is something that will always be real,

The sound of silence is soft yet eerie shrill,

The sound of silence I think is the only one who's making you feel.
