When Will The Quest End?
When the whole world seems to crumble,
When the whole earth seems to tremble,
When the entire sky seems to fall apart,
When all the oceans seem merged & rush towards the shore to make a massive impact, I stand & stare at heaven with all my hopes intact.
When the entire human race seems to be in a deadlock,
When the impasse seems to be too long & plunging towards stealth headlong,
When the whole humanity seems helpless, clueless to overcome the standoff,
When the enemy is invisible but very much in force everything seems out of control; in the bedrock.
Whether this catch- 22 situation is a state of such quandary,
Whether the most powerful creatures, humans are so hapless & tottery,
Whether this beautiful living place of ours would become an ossuary,
Whether the circumstances have been inadvertently man-made or an act of roguery.
Whether this conundrum of a global lockdown of life would ever end?
Whether the paradox of truth, morality would prevail over conspiracy & fraud?
Whether this unprecedented paradigm would be a great leveler in the end?
Whether this rigid dichotomy between science & mysticism would be breached?
Who has the answers to these uncertainties, to this unending mystery?
Who has the panacea to proclaim a cure for this enigmatic mystery?
Who can redeem human life to mainstream & bring normalcy in a hurry?
Who can bring an end to this rampaging pandemic & cease the seemingly endless human misery?
