What's In A Forever?

We give too much too soon

Because there's nothing called a 'forever'

So lemme just give all I can

While we last,

Should I rather wait for a 'forever'

And treat you like a stranger,

Thinking that everything has a time

A proper moment I'm waiting for,

Only to realise we drift apart

Missing the opportunity of

Making all those memories I fantasized about,

Just because I was waiting for a nonexistent 'forever'.
