Transience Of Happiness
Transience Of Happiness
Bright years of life,
And happiness,
Every day a measure,
We live in breaths and laughs,
They go the furthest in memory,
When a smile instills life,
And strangers meet hand to hand,
A freshness in spirit hardly goes unnoticed.
They are taken away in a while,
And at no street it turns up,
Despite the most arduous search,
It's not for safekeeping,
What we seek,
Those moments are life's gems,
We gain and lose without knowing.
Why the same walk and return,
Why, the coldness numbs our aspirations,
Yet we don't look for our homes?
Perhaps, it is only happiness,
We seek and only happiness,
We remember, understand,
Who speaks for grief?
There is no place for gloom,
In our hearts,
All that is there, is meant to be removed,
One day, some day!
But, of course,
Who would enjoy being sad?
It's not a sweet scent to carry around.
It's just that sadness is often mistaken,
It's a book always neglected,
It's a door nobody desires to open,
Fearing a tragedy,
We don't see, that doors are always meant to be opened.
