To Be In Love

 The Moon in love with the ocean plunges into its arm,

Deep in its bosom, it finds its unalloyed bliss and charm;

So my Love when you hold me in your warm embrace

The ecstasy and rapture is a unique heaven-sent grace.

The Orchids blossom on the trees which in proud dignity

Hold them aloft that they can exhibit their delicate beauty.

 When your hand rests on my hand and you walk by my side, 

I too like the trees hold my head high-, inflated with pride!.

The male bird dances and shows off its wings of many hues

It somersaults and pirouettes against the backdrop of blue

Its mate is captivated, enticed and allured-- I too strut about

To attract your attention, my Love! My overtures do not flout.

The waterfall rushes down in lover’s uncontrolled urgency

To meet his Love in an unexplained untrammeled vibrancy;

 To understand the meaning ‘of being in love’, one must feel

 The ebullience, the exhilaration and the ‘lunacy’ which is real!.
