To A Lost Friend

Well this poem is for the girl who used to be my best friend 

So umm here it goes

Hey ex-bestie,

Thanks for all the time we have spent together.

I don't wish we could be friends again,

'Cause would be like going to the sea when we don't know how to swim.

But you know I sometimes wish that perhaps,

Maybe through my whispers, my words would reach you.

I really, really wanna thank you,

'Cause yk you were my only friend, and when you left me,

I was alone and what did that teach me?

It taught me so, so much.

I learned how life can be hard,

The value of friendship.

I learned that I was strong enough,

And how to live.

Thank you for leaving me,

At hard times.

You left me when I had no one,

Yk, it's totally fine now 

I'm my own best friend,

And forever will be.
