Thy Love
Thy Love
Let thy love be an ocean, in which I be drowned,
Let me get lost in the depths of it, and never be found.
In thy love, I shall take a dive and take away my breath,
Thy love hast made me stronger, unafraid of death.
Let thy love be the poem I wish to write,
With moon up high in a starry night.
Let thy love be my air without which I shall die,
Let thy love be my moon, my heaven, and sky.
Let thy love be my god, whom I wish to find,
With thou in my eyes, my prayers unwind.
Thou be the petals and I, the scent up close,
Together we shall make what they call a "rose".
Let thy love be the prize and I be the winner,
Jealous are those who call me a sinner.
Let thy love be the thief, preparing from the start,
To sneak away from my soul, and take away my heart.
