The Tenebrous Terrain

The Tenebrous Terrain

The hunchback moon peeked behind the cloud,

Disseminating darkness, with its rays,

As sinister beasts in the night howling.

Evil emanated, shielded with dark shroud,

Probing for prey, to trap in their maze.

The hunchback moon peeked behind the cloud.

Unsullied souls, gave out a cry loud,

Whilst nefarious critters, darkness did blaze.

The sinister beasts in the night howled.

Trees rustled with winds wild, in and out,

Frightening the wayfarers, on their ways.

The hunchback moon peeked behind the cloud.

Owls hooted in the woods, without flout,

Petrifying night, tenebrous terrain did face.

As sinister beasts in the night howling.

A little prayer for refuge emerged at the bout,

Through the darkness of night, I did gaze;

The hunchback moon peeked behind the cloud,

As sinister beasts in the night howling.
