Knock Knock

When love knocked at my door...

I stood silent, dropping my chores.

Was it the breeze of the night sky?

Or the stars shimmering up high?

Was it the fragrance of flowers,

Sweet and comforting,

Our little birdie,

Tweeting and flitting.

Was it the flower dancing at my feet,

Even under the scorching heat?

Ah... it was a love sent by the Divine

With every being it did twine.

That wafted slowly into my ramparts

Knocking gently the door of my heart!
